Food was delicious! Didn't have to wait long for it, which is awesome! I ordered mussels and then salmon. Loved it. Drinks are good also. I assume everyone was able to park. We came right after opening at 4:30, so we had no problem to park. I also went to look what's on a second floor. It's a bar and open deck with tables for a summer time !

We were there to celebrate a big birthday. We are a foodie family, and are very discerning when it comes to eating out. We had drinks, appetizers, our entrees and shared a dessert. The food was really GREAT. Frankie was our waiter and Michael the manager came over to check in on us. It’s definitely a great option for a night out. We will be back!

Sofias has been one of our preferred restaurants in the area. The staff are always attentive & friendly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Great bar area with a separate lounge with seating.
Our server made our visit last night with family relaxed & enjoyable. I took a star off the food because my scallops were a little overcooked. Everything else was tasty & well prepared.

The atmosphere is elegant, sophisticated and clean without being stuffy.
The service was friendly, attentive, and reliable.
My sons had the steak frittes and lamb chops...I sampled both and they were divine. I had fresh pasta with bolognese and it was perfection.
And then the deserts! We had the Tiramisu, Chocolate Molten Lava Cake and the Cheesecake...each was heaven.
I would say this is one of my favorite places to eat...period.

Came in on a busy Saturday night. We were seated at Emily’s table. First thought was that she looked like Phoebe from Friends, but she was so much better! Bubbly. Sweet. Attentive. And went above and beyond to make our night a fantastic experience. Oh… and the food was great too!!

Running late on a Friday night was no big deal for Sofia's they pushed back our our reservations without issue. My sister and niece are picky eaters but the food was amazing. They ordered safe food chicken broccoli and alfredo but tasted our food and vowed to come back to try different options. Our waiter Daniel was more than amazing, the food was impeccable and there was parking!! Free parking!! Sofia was worth every single penny.

My 8 family members and I went there last night for an 57year Anniversary and it was a horrible experience! It was extremely hot in the room we had; could care less asked many times about the air quality and the manager said “ok”. Now the food..the all the red sauce taste like tomato paste and the steak was extremely tough. This restraint took a lovely, exciting evening to a bad place. The server served EVERYTHING one at a time..so weird, even drinks? Spent over $600 and will NEVER, ever go there again. We only got more “don’t care” attitude when we spoke yet to another manager..what a shame.

Yummy Island Creek raw oysters for $1.00 on Tuesdays. Beautiful fireplace, friendly staff and great food. It's our new Tuesday night date night. Thank you for making my husbands birthday special.

The food was great the service was terrible and the management worse. When our steak was cooked well and ordered medium the manager came out to tell us the middle was medium only the edges were well. WTF? I want to eat my entire steak not just the middle. How dare you bring it back out and put it back on the table just to say we were wrong but you will make another one. Seriously that is rude and offensive. Bad customer service and insulting. We were drinking $150 bottles of wine and ordering $50 steaks. It's not like we were a cheap bill.

I ordered the Chicken parmigiana. $24.00 for a piece of chicken (about the size of a small frozen patty) that was so flattened out and over cooked as well as paper thin. The coating on it was so crispy, I fought to cut it with a steak knife. Worst experience ever. They should be ashamed of themselves for even allowing that meal come out of the kitchen.

It used to be a good restaurant and we went often, the LAST TIME we were there it was terrible, we all went for my birthday and honestly waited almost 2 hours for dinner or anything because they had a bigger party ahead of us so we were ignored, when we finally got served the portions were much smaller and not worth waiting for that was last August and I won't go back again..

Sofia is a high end steakhouse and Italian restaurant in West Roxbury worth the short drive out of the city to check out! I went in for dinner recently with the fiance and a friend of ours, and we had a great meal. Great steak, classy atmosphere. One of the best steak houses in Boston. The portions are fantastic and the quality is superb. I asked for my steak medium rare and it came medium rare, not well done like in other places...<br/>You have to visit the place to appreciate the interior design and the casual, yet classy atmosphere.<br/>I recommend it.
