Mare Oyster Bar - Boston - Photo album

Everything seafood was just great. Great selection of vines, if you love your Italians. Raw bar was superb, I skipped main dish entirely and ordered more instead. Oyster selection were way too good. I am not in the know with NA oysters, so market list and waiter tips helped with the decision. Ketchu
We had our Xmass party there and it was amazing! Tucked away on a side str Mare is one of the best steak houses on the Northend! Food was incredible! Drinks, service dessert and of course the wine!!! Best white I had! Pic attached! Make sure you get it!
Went for a birthday dinner. The oyster bar was really nice. The outside dining is nice but also directly abut to the highway. Staff was standout. Very attentive.
Local friend recommend us to go here. We made a reservation ahead, sit in. Waiter’s English was fine can understand English isn’t his first language. All of our friends were fine not the best but still ok. The only down side is we sat outside; however the street construction car suddenly stared to
I worked with Gaia to put together an event for a large group and I cannot say enough praise for how seamless, easy, fun, and delicious the night was. From start to finish booking, choosing menu options, decorating, and all logistics were a breeze. My group had a blast and the staff was so attentive
We had wine, apps, and entrees and the best was my soup. I was expecting something small like at most restaurants, only after the fact did I notice it listed half a lobster. Your napkin will look like a murder scene after taking this thing apart but it was the standout of the meal. TONS of meat and
Great service and the food was absolutely delicious! We had the Tagliatelle Con Aragosta and the Mare Lobster Roll. The pasta was perfectly cooked and had large chunks of lobster in it. The lobster roll was great too; perfectly seasoned and was full of lobster. It came with a side of crispy fries an
Scallop appetizer was flavorful and tender. Swordfish entree was tasty. Ribeye was ordered medium rare, but came out medium to medium well and was tough to cut with the steak knife and to chew. Service was excellent. Complimentary bread and olives were nice touches. There is a lovely store in t
Mare is always a first choice when dining in the North End in the summer. The views of the city on the patio as a backdrop to your meal are impeccable. The food was all delicious and very punctual. It was a nice combination between seafood and Italian. Server could have more friendly and seemed slig
Our server Irving was the absolute best! The zucchini blossoms he recommended did not disappoint (def a most!!) and after that we trusted everything he recommended and we were dying with how good the food was. Definitely would go again and have him as our server if possible because he just made the
Food From appetiser to main course to dessert, every single dish was excellent, even the complementary bread. I wasn’t sure about the kampachi tartare initially, but I was so happy we ordered it. The steam mussels were good, but I wished it were spicier. Everything else If you don’t need to think a
Will definitely come back! Me and my girlfriend were wandering around looking for a seafood restaurant and we got VERY rude initial service at Neptune Oyster and Union Oyster House to the point we felt unwanted and uncomfortable and just got up and left. Feeling frustrated, I noticed Mare was open
I saw some photos of the fireplace seating here and really wanted to go here for a date night. We were not disappointed with this little gem tucked away in an alley. The Homemade Gnocchi Frutti di Mare was excellent and a good portion. The bread, pesto, and olives were really good, and the highly-s
The food there is really good. I liked the squid linguini and oyster platter the most. Tiramisu is a must try as well. Space is limited but the service is quite giid
