El Pelon Taqueria - Boston - Photo album

Love this place, must-visit if you’re in the area. Was there this past Saturday at 11:45AM just before the Boston College football game. Walked right in and ordered. If you go after the game lines are literally out the door. My favorite is the caramelos but they might be too spicy for some.
Okay just to start out I'm only rating this a four-star because there is no decent salsa and no alcoholic beverages served. Aside from that, super extra delicious loving comfort Mexican food that I will go back and seek out again every time I am visiting my daughter in Boston. It's very convenient t
Great burritos and quesadillas. Comparatively smaller portions than other places, or similar to the small/regular option of other taquerias with large options. The food I enjoy: The burritos are simple but satisfying and filling. My favorite is the El Guapo, which has steak and plantains. The two i
Moving my daughter in to BC, I thought we would try some Mexican food , good choice, right down the street from the BC campus ! Small place but pleasant ; food was fresh and tasty . When going back to BC I will certainly stop in again fir them delicious food ! Enchiladas were great! Burrito was ex
I accidentally ordered to the wrong location, and the staff were kind enough to make the burrito for me anyway. Amazing food too, of course. Highly recommend El Guapo, everything at Pelon is always great
I want to eat every menu of this restaurant. It's so delicious. I ate enchilada with grilled beef. Tastes like western dumpling but it has a twist inside of the tortilla. The beef was cooked so well and I could feel every ingredient. Peppers on the top made harmony of all the tastes it has. Totall
El guapo is my favorite burrito this side of the Mississippi. The place is small but the food is great
Me and some colleagues from out of town got 8 burritos and they were all fantastic! The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, the seasonings were great, and the sauces and guac were awesome. Very pleased with the service, quality, price, and speed at which they can prepare their food.
Original one in Fenway the best but tried this place too. My favorite Burrito place not only in Boston but from around world. Must try salsa verde or green sauce with any Burrito or Taco you get. Recently they increased the price a bit but still worth it.
Ordered takeout from here tonight for the 3rd time. Very good, as it has been every time. Food: 5/5 We got chips, guac, and fire roasted salsa to start. Their chips are thick, and nicely salty. The guac is tasty & reliable, while the fire roasted salsa is served warm, smoky, a little heat and good
My absolute favorite place to get a burrito. Not only is it cheap enough to enjoy on a daily basis, but the portions are enormous for less than $10. Definitely must try! Mexican Coca-Cola in glass bottles pair perfectly with the rest of their dishes. The traditional Mexican art throughout the dining
Best fish tacos east of the Mississippi River
Great place right across the street from Boston College’s lower campus. Consistently good, hot food. Have never gotten a cold burrito- they always come double wrapped in foil. Bags are paper so they’re clearly trying to use as little plastic as possible. Try the “El Guapo” burrito with avocado if yo
