This place is super homey and the staff is friendly! The vibe is very community-focused, everyone seems to know everyone else and everyone is happy and friendly. I've been here a couple times now and gotten a number of food and coffee drinks. Everything has been delicious. The food is mostly creative takes on breakfast classics, smoked salmon benedicts with "froached" eggs (pictured), breakfast burritos, egg and cheese bagels with fresh tomatoes. The menu changes pretty regularly so it never gets stale. Definitely try the Borgia latte and Dirty Chai! A coffee plus sandwich is usually between $8-12, so it's way cheaper than you'll find in most coffee shops.

Lovely family-run business with the best smoothies in Boston (real fruits, perfect sweetness). Staff is super friendly and other food is great. 10/10 will come again! Thank you!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that they had a low carb/KETO item! Very kind owners and cute and quaint place. Great for a quick cozy unassuming breakfast after church.

I’ve only been here once but I’m already in love. The indoor and outdoor space is lovely, the people are very friendly, and the ginger tumeric latte is ah-mazing. The only items I’d request are one or two taller tables outside and salmon, or something similar, to add to the already delicious toasted bagels.

Visited Boston from the 11th -16th on a wedding anniversary trip from England. We started the freedom trail on Boston Common and visited the Bunker Hill Monument. On our way down the street we chanced upon the Charlestown Tea Room and ventured inside. The lady had only just opened and welcomed us in like old friends. My wife had a huge mug of hot chocolate and I had an equally huge mug of black coffee. The lady was so friendly and we chatted like old friends. I was intrigued about the multitude of dog pictures and was told it was a dog friendly establishment. It's the sort of place sadly lacking in England. A community oriented hub to drop in and socialize. The owner said it was her first season. I wish her well as I did then. A superb rest stop for anybody doing the Freedom Trail and a credit to the owner. If we ever visit Boston again we will make a concerted effort to cross the rusty bridge to this little gem of a place.

Just a wonderful cup of tea every single time! Also great at modifying for non dairy options and allergies. London fog and matcha latte are by far my favorites. Breakfast sandwiches are on point too.

Located at the bottom of the hill from the Bunker Hill monument. Not a big menu, not a big cafe, not much but clean bathrooms. Buy something and leave a tip before you use facilities at Charleston Tea and Coffee

Staff is very friendly. No masks for fully vaccinated visitors. The chai is homemade and some of the best I've had. I'll definitely be back. The coffee is sourced locally. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Inside has air-conditioning. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Used to come here all the time when I was working in Charlestown. Tracy is an amazing and friendly person who clearly cares a lot. The atmosphere is so incredibly charming and welcoming. There were always plenty of regulars, which speaks to the quality. Cannot recommend this enough.

This was a pretty good cafe that feels very down to earth and I think it is frequented quite a lot by the locals. I had the grilled cheese sandwich + bacon and an iced latte. This set me back about $14. The sandwich was done really well with nice gooey cheese. The latte was pretty average. Kinda like a Dunkin latte. PRO: Nice decoration and ambience. Nice sandwiches. Warm personal service. Pet friendly. CON: Sandwiches are small for the price. Long wait time when the place was ~80% full. I waited about 20 minutes for the sandwich. I’m sure they will do well and I would come back =)
