Are here while doing the tourist thing in Boston. We were seated quickly outside. The food here is a bit pricey but I think that is normal for this party of town. Despite the price, the food was tasty and all three of us enjoyed it.
I can't give this place a full 5 start review sure to the lackluster service. Our waiter did not reappear until it was time for our check. It was a hot day and we could have used some drink refills. Not horrible service, just not good.
My experience may be different than yours. I would still recommend it.
We had a wonderful experience here! The fried pickles were perfection — just enough pickle, just enough breading, perfectly fried! We also ordered the brussel sprouts and bacon, super tasty! Lastly, we ordered the mixed greens salad with tuna — very good! The tuna was very peppery, but that’s just a preference.
Great place to have good food at affordable prices in Boston. Visited twice over a 4 day period! Clam chowder was divine, lobster mac and cheese was very tasty and a huge portion, crispy chicken sandwich was very good and again big portion. In general very happy with the place and the service!
My boyfriend and I stopped in to Anthem Kitchen and Bar while walking along the Freedom Trail. This was a great place to take a break for lunch. We ordered the lobster roll and new england clam chowder. The food was good. The Clam Chowder was amazing. I would go back just for the chowder! The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the drinks. The mixed drinks were terrible and we were told that the bartender was new. Other than that we had a good experience.
Good food and cold beer. We stopped in here and really enjoyed our meal. It was pretty crowded and noisy, but it was tolerable and despite that, we really enjoyed the location and the food. The service was excellent. I had a appetizer of polenta cakes and pulled pork which was very good. I also had the lobster mac and cheese which was also very good.
Nice place to eat with a great ambiance. I had the lobster roll and fries which was cooked perfectly. Friends had the short ribs that was extremely tender and the chicken wings
This place is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Easily. Braised Short Rib was AMAZING, like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. Broccoli was great as well. Fries were a bit over seasoned, but were still great. Waitress was very good, all service was nice. Nice view, and lots of outdoor seating.
My final word on the subject? I didn’t know food could taste that good.
Great restaurant right in Quincy Market general area; however, everything on the menu seems to be a little over priced. We decided to go with appetizers and drinks. My husband got the bourbon siracha wings which he really enjoyed. I got the oysters which were delicious; however, I gotta say the Salty Dog across the way had better oysters for a cheaper price. The drinks were great. They have a great selection of martinis. I didnt end up getting one but the bartender was very nice and allowed me to try a taste of the lychee martini when she made too much for another customer. I was pleasantly suprised by this because we dont usually get service like that where I'm from! All in all great place and great atmosphere! Smelled amazing in there so I'm sure the other food is excellent as well.
When on a cruise thru Boston, we stopped here for a local cuisine. We were not disappointed. Great service and food. Would definitely recommend to anyone. 👍
Had a late evening meal here with friends so the place wasn't so busy. We were seated outside and the waitress was very good as was our food. Would recommend.
