What can you say about Sullivan’s (Sully’s) (the island) it’s been the #1 spot in Southie since the Fifties to get a hot dog or a burger & fries. Always have a great staff and some have been there for 30+ years. If you’re in the neighborhood in the summertime it’s a must try.

Best food ever definitely worth the wait in line. I grew up in Southie and love coming back to visit and enjoy Sully’s. Onion Rings are the best.

I've been going to Sully's since forever (like 60 years). It's a really special place to me as my Mom and Dad took us there as children. The memories are beautiful and part of me. Love the food, especially the hot dogs and fried clams. Always consistent and delicious. The young kids that work there do a great job as well.

A Southie institution. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. Best hot dogs around, as they butter & grill the rolls and grill the dogs. My usual is 2 dogs, ketchup and mustard, French fries, and a black & white frappe. Best place around! Fresh Lobster Rolls, burgers, seafood sandwiches, etc... If you're going to Castle Island or Carson Beach or to Southie in the spring/summer, do yourself a favor and try it out!

Have been going to Sully’s since I can remember. Yesterday my daughter and I tried the clam strips for the first time. My daughter said “they’re the best ones she’s ever had”. The line was short and quick, the food came out fast and accurate. The rest of our order included a hot dog, fries and a cheeseburger and we were not disappointed 😊. Can’t wait to go back.

The line to order was long but moved quickly. The food was hot and fresh. Fried clams and lobster rolls were a good value. Worth every penny!

Absolutely love it. But since they discontinued the lobster bisque I won’t be eating there anymore. I’ll go Walking and maybe get an ice cream. I wish you didn’t stop selling the lobster bisque

I am originally from southie and as a kid at least once a week I was here! Now as a young adult I love going here when ever I can! The world is changeing around me but it’s nice to have a place that is still the same!

I’m been going to Sully’s since I was a little kid and never had a bad dog or burger. My 1.5 year old already loves it. Cannot beat their food or prices. Staff is always very capable and they work quickly

Given the monopoly they have in this location, I think their ( non seafood) items are priced reasonably. The parking can be a lot challenging, however there is plenty of paid street parking available at a short walking distance. The kids at the counter are great, they are very nice and polite. We had the fish sandwich ( fried) this was very good, wish the fries were a bit freshly fried they were luke warm, what is the fun of having Luke warm fries. The cheese burger was decent, nothing great. Grilled cheese was average. Enjoy !

Great food, at a decent price! We go there almost every summer as a treat. Enjoying some whole belly clams by the ocean? Absolutely. The seagulls can get a little ballsy but I guess that's the price you pay for amazing food! They are fast even when it's packed there. There's a park you can walk thru as well. Filled with families, plenty of parking and of course right on the ocean down the street from a local beach!

My family and I have been coming here for decades. Always a queue when it’s the summer season. Have to patient to find parking. Through the decades of visiting here, quality has had its ups and downs. But that’s with every business. These last few years, the best thing on the menu is the broiled fish sandwich… Not fried. Sullivan’s will probably be here long after I’m gone lol.

Historic eatery on the water. Fish was world class. The seating not so much but the fish is worth it!

We went on a rainy day. They have NO indoor seating. Food was good, not great. Was priced pretty high. Was expecting more with the great reviews... Quick service.

My sandwich got delivered faster than I could say jimmy johns…. This place is a meat grinder, the roll is super small but packed with meat. Not much more, maybe a little Mayo…?

Wanna grab a quick bite to eat after enjoying a day on Castle Island? Sullivan's is the perfect place to do that. Simple beach fare at affordable prices, Sullivan's has been around for a long time, and doesn't pretend to be anything other than a seaside shack to grab some food on the beach. Service is friendly, and the food is not bad.

Best service. I was a first time customer here and had some questions, the lady cashier took time to explain to me with great attitude and recommended me some dishes. I ordered for 3 people for take away : 2 bowls of clam chowder, 1 small clam strip, 1 small clam bellies and fried scallop. The waiting time was around 5-7 minutes and all of the food I ordered was fresh and delicious. I will come back for sure in the future.

This place is crazy popular so make sure to brace for the crowds or go during the off hours (or better yet off season BUT do note that they close during the winter months). I've been here a few times but finally got around to making a review for it. There's nothing better than having a great meal while having a scenic view of the ocean (be prepared to not get too distracted unless you want the seagulls making a move on your food!). Items we had on this trip (as of 10/20): - Small fries - $2.50 - Nothing special. Could be crispier. - Onion rings - $6.95 - These are on the greasy side but man are they delicious! The batter is very crunchy and perfect for any onion ring lover out there. You also get a LOT for what you pay (see photos as a reference). - Chicken Caesar salad - $7.95 - not bad considering the price but definitely not something I would go out of my way to get if you're here. - Crab cake sandwich - $9.95 - Great crab flavor without too much breading. For $10 it's definitely not a bad option to have. If you're in the area stop by, enjoy the views and have some great food at a very reasonable price! (NOTE: During the summer months parking can be a bit hectic so be prepared to find parking before you reach the restaurant if it looks crazy).

Despite being located in one of the touristy areas near Boston, this place serves delicious food at great value. Visited this afternoon to try the lobster roll and fried clam strips. I don’t have a lot of experience with fried clam strips, but this was much better than the other two famous places I’ve visited in Quincy; the clams were adequately meaty and cooked perfectly crispy. The lobster roll was decent: toasted bread wasn’t the best, but I liked how it was still packed with fresh lobster meat for less than 20 dollars.

Excellent food at a fair price! Clam chowder was so flavorful. Lobster rolls were delicious and fresh. The fried clam strips and fries were perfectly executed. Even the rice side was fantastic! The online ordering process was smooth. Staff was friendly. Raspberry Lime Rickey was out of this world! Actually, everything was. Planes flew overhead, so it was very cool, if really loud! Update (a day later): looking back, this clam-forward clam chowder was sensational and out-of-this-world! It seems unbelievable, but we have had the clam chowder from Union Oyster House, and Sullivan's is much more clam-forward and easily topped the one we had from Union Oyster House! Probably the best clam chowder I've ever had that I could buy was the one I had here at Sullivan's.

This place is packed. The lines are long but move smoothly. We ordered the fried scallops, lobster roll, fried haddock, fried whole clams and crab cake sandwich. It is take out only. So I suggest bringing a blanket and having your meal on the Grass. It is pricey but worth it. The portions are a good size. The seafood was so fresh. The fried scallops and fried whole belly were so crispy, grease and juicy. My favorite items of the meal. Definitely, will be back from more

I recently ordered catering from Sullivan's at Castle Island for a family event and absolutely recommend it! Huge portions of fries, the food was fresh and warm, and everything was amazingly well packaged. The food was ready at our exact pickup time. They even included a caddy with all the condiments we'd need to go with the food we ordered. Made for a great experience. Thank you Sullivan's!

Next to the beach, convenient. Seatings are available on the park styled tables, benches, no table service. The fried fish sandwich was pretty good, not greasy. The onion rings and fries were fried well, good tasting. Hot dogs, average. Good outdoor, fast food place!
