It was so tasty I went back a second time for lunch!
My #1 recommendation is the mango lemon drop. It tasted just like mango, a dangerous drink.
I sat outside as it was summer and it felt great. The service was also fantastic.
Everything I had was tasty. The rolls were delicious, the crab cake was good - it was actually lump crab and 90% crab meat.
If you don’t mind splurging the baked lobster was very yummy. It had a mix of lobster, shrimp and scallops on the inside with a buttery crust on top.
If you don’t want to spend as much the lobster roll was equally delicious. Buttery and filling.
As a tourist visiting downtown Boston, I was very happy with this dining experience!

Great seafood place in downtown Boston. The lobster roll was buttery and delicious. The lobster ravioli was very good. It had some kick to it so pairing with a salad was a good choice. The drinks were great. I had a Kentucky Calypso and would highly recommend. The crab cake was pretty good. They have an awesome Boston Cream Pie.

Great chain. I always stop at one to get the clam chowder. Nice wait staff who were very helpful and fun to talk with. While I was here they had a special on the oysters during happy hour from 2 until 5.

Was an amazing meal! The 3 of us ordered Swordfish steak, blackened Haddock, and seared Scallops. They were all delicious. We also had the Lobster Bisque and Clam Chowder that were just as good. Then for dessert, the Boston Cream Pie, of course! Phenomenal. Our server Jon was impeccable. If you like great seafood, a beautiful restaurant, and spectacular service, head to Legal Sea Foods for dinner.

It was excellent experience to enjoy lobster here. We ordered gulf of Maine lobster (steamed and baked), the market price was 58 USD. This set can include two side dishes which were tasty as well.
The interior design and atmosphere is lovely. The service lady was also very friendly and helpful. Really nice to be here.

Dinner here with my family was an amazing experience. We arrived a little early for our reservations. While waiting to see if our table was ready, a young woman asked us how we were doing and if we were going to see a show. Talked with us for a minute then we were seated. Already pleased at the level of care we were receiving.
At the table, Destiny, our server, made us feel welcome and efficiently took our various orders with a smile. We all commented to each other how great the service was so far.
I finished my drink and a manager, Doug, was instantly there taking the empty away and engaging us with some humor which was funny and appreciated.
Our food was ready in astounding time, shockingly fast. It was soooo good! The food presentation was top notch. The desserts looked amazing! We all sampled each others dishes, great all around.
Another manager came around, didn't catch her name, and asked how our evening was going. Going great!
Doug came over again and told our daughter that if she could finish the kids crossword puzzle in one minute, he'd buy her dessert. She did and he did! 😊
This dining experience was the best one I've ever had anywhere. Yes, anywhere. The food was great but the level of personable service was way above anything you'd expect.
I saw the managers and kitchen staff have a quick all hands meeting in the kitchen area. You can tell a lot from observing things like this. They were all attentive and focused then got right back to work. I was impressed with that.
Thank you to the staff here, we went to see Hamilton but we kept talking about our dinner, you made a big impression.👍👍

Red sangria very good. Sushi is a bit different it is little square patties with one crab piece in it (Cali roll). The grilled shrimp were plump and savory paired with whipped potatoes and street corn had a little kick to it like a salsa sauce which was surprising. It was very cold in restaurant and our table was dark with no candles, but it helped us to relax and enjoy the food more so I can see the appeal of a darker eating space. Around us, alternating tables were either lit up or dark.

The crab cake was life changing! Exemplary flavors that you will be sad to miss. So glad we went worth every calorie!

It is legally possible to get excellent seafood, centrally located near the arts district,
In Boston.
There are tons of brews on tap. And let's face it. A brew with seafood pairs like:
- Glass slippers and Cinderella
- Barbie and Openhiemer
- Red Sox and Patriots
- Fish and Chips
Large portions. Consider sharing. With me, that is.

Loved this place! The legal clam chowder is a must-have item in Boston, one highlight of our trip. The other items we ordered were also great, blackened sea scallop was sooo good and packed with flavour whereas the oyster was sweet and plump. Highly recommend this place

Great place to taste Boston local cuisine and traditional dishes. The feeling is very welcoming and confortable. They offer a bar, high table or lower table options, reservations are recommended. Service is very attentive and quick to respond. The fish and chips and the scallops dish are great options (with the sweet potato mash). Enjoy this very centric and great restaurant!

A delicious Boston seafood restaurant and local chain. Great for business meetings and friendly get togethers.
The crabmeat sliders were a great appetizer we’ll liked by all.
Delicious fish and seafood.
Experimental menu section is always fascinating.
Cheese cake was good but not as awesome as the icecream bon bons.

As a well-know $$ seafood restaurant, it is GREAT!
The restaurant looked elegant and provided a very comfortable feeling. The staff were very considerate and friendly. It is a wonderful place for friends, family or business partners to have a lunch or dinner.
We ordered legal signature crab cake, Fried jumbo naked shrimp, fried fish and chips and sesame crusted blue fin tuna. ALL of them were DELICIOUS! They were fresh and juicy. The shell of fried food was really crunchy.
We ordered legal red sangria and cucumber margarita as well. Both of them were good, specifically the red sangria.
A very happy lunch there and one of the highlight of Boston visits.

Came here because I didn’t wanna wait at Neptune. Monday night and almost a full bar. The staff was so great, was by myself at the bar and bartenders were interacting with all of us. I had the Mango Lemon Drop and arguably the best cocktail I’ve had ever! Cup of clam chowder and fried calamari were great as well. Good casual atmosphere. Never felt rushed and good place to relax and read a book. Would go back just for the Mango Lemon Drop :)
