It's a great restaurant with good food. My only complaint is that all the tables are so so so sticky. And apparently the server said all tables are like that and we saw everyone around us struggle as well. To pick up or move glasses or plates is an art :)

This place was awesome. It’s very rare that i go out to nicer places like this but it makes it all worth it. We went during the boston dine out and the price you pay for all the delicious food is awesome. The service was great and the food was too, i have no complaints.

The best thing about this restaurant is the balcony-side seating. The second best thing is the calamari, it was our favorite from the 3 appetizers that we ordered (meatballs and bruschetta). Olive oil was delicious but we had to ask for it, bread+olive oil was not brought before we asked. Bread was delicious but too soft, no crispiness. The gnocchi was no special, too big of a portion (3/5) Chicken parm was good. Overall we did not get impressed by the menu, it was hard to choose main dishes. Sitting by the balcony was very nice, we went there around 7pm. It got super loud and noisy after that and even the balcony did not help. I would not go back to this place for their food, but maybe for the balcony.

Great for a date night! Still early in my exploration of north end restaurants but this definitely set the standard. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and the food did not disappoint. My favorite dish was the calamari. It’s was so crispy and fresh. It was perfect for an appetizer and it was a great refresher and complement to the relatively heavier pasta entrees (also incredibly tasty).

What you would expect from a North End restaurant. The calamari was okay— I felt like it could’ve been less salty and emphasized the squid more. The pasta with eggplant and cream vodka sauce was delicious! The sauce was pretty sweet, but paired well with the eggplant and cheese! The ambience is quite nice with big windows that let in the hubbub of the street! Would recommend for a less busy restaurant with god food :)

To: Kitchen Team & Mateo I had the privilege to work here 9-10yrs ago. Back then the food quality and service experience was the highest. Today that same top quality of service and food quality status still: the highest. No where else you will experience such authentic Italian cuisine. I will never forget this restaurant for the rest of my life. I will take you with me back to Houston, TX. But I’ll be back. Thank you guys 😀

The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The spicy garlic calamari was light and delicate with a delicious flavor. Both our main courses were perfect, veal parmigiana and sausage arrabiatta. And our server was so accommodating, he took care with the kitchen to prepare my dish with veggies instead of pasta (gluten free). Thank you for an outstanding experience!

Husband and I decided to try this corner spot as the ambiance coming out the windows looked so inviting. We both got the seafood specials for the evening and they were phenomenal! Attentive staff sat us down quickly and got our alcoholic drinks out fast. Would visit again.

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal here the other night with a group of friends. I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and porcini ravioli. The espresso martinis ordered by the rest of the group were a hit as well! The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Due our uber getting cancelled we showed up late and even with a packed house they made sure to get us in. Thank you so much!

One of my new favorites in the North End - a great place for a date night. Went here on a warm early summer day and got a table in one of the many floor to ceiling windows which let in a nice breeze. The staff are friendly and inviting, and the service was excellent. The food came quickly and was fresh - an excellent dinner spot! Prosciutto and Mozzarella as an appetizer was a fabulous choice. Chicken Caccatoire and Shrimp Scampi for the main course were delicious and absolutely hit the spot, and all for a reasonable price for 2 people. Would highly recommend if your looking for a great restaurant off of Hanover Street for a more quiet and relaxing meal away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy main road of the North End.

I want to fist start out by saying the food, atmosphere and service were all very good, and their regular prices are reasonable for the North End. I took a Star because we specifically went last night for Restaurant Week and only after we were seated were told they weren't honoring it. It was the final night and certainly should have. Just leaves you with a bait and switch feeling

Open air seatings available, with bar area downstairs. Service was good. Pasta and risotto's various seafood was a mix, the shrimps and scallops were pretty good but the calamari was not as expected, they were not the preferred parts, the clams and mussels were over cooked.

An Italian-American place in the North End, serving classic seafood dishes. The calamari is good - the breading is textbook and the squid has the texture just right. A bit of fried pickled jalapenos and peppers are a great add to the dish as well to keep it interesting. The shrimp scampi is alright. The pasta is a bit past al dente, while the shrimp is so-so, something you can make at home. The sauce also isn't notable. The tomatoes, however, are very well done - cooked just enough to be bursting out of its peel.

Got the chicken carbonara, it was good but there’s probably better pasta dishes in the north end. The ambiance with a partial indoor outdoor vibe is nice and worth a visit

This place was amazing and our servers were a trainy and the master and they were just fantastic! Food is SO good! I had the butternut squash ravioli, OH MY GOD! Go there you won't regret your choice!
