Stockyard Restaurant

This restaurant, much like the Stevie’s music their live band played, makes you happy and joyful here. Especially for folks like me, come for decent food and hanging without practicing the French pronunciation of the wines. Their front yard is open for free parking. Yet, if you are looking for some Miles David’s Jazz $$$$$ steakhouses where certain generation needs to turn on the flashlight to see the menu, it may not a good fit.

A phenomenal combination of local feel with high end flare. Been going here for decades and have been enjoying their upgrades the whole time. A nice place with nice food and cocktails. Wine list is lacking a touch but their martinis are absolutely on point. And don't forget to ask your server about their whiskey selection.

Highly recommend reservations on weekends. Food was delicious and it came out super fast. Waitress was awesome and acknowledged us frequently. Very polite and attentive. The young female host that sat us, she wasnt so friendly but i chalk it up to a busy & stressful night maybe? Overall great experience.

The steaks were cooked perfectly; ordered medium rare. The sides & drinks were average but didn’t match the quality of the steaks. 5 star meat, 3 star sides. The baked potato was standard. Spicy broccoli with chilli flakes was not hot. The rolls are over salted but looked fluffy and steamy so it was odd. I had a blood orange margarita. There was live Jazz on a Friday night. Lighting and crowd created a great mood. I also enjoyed the deep rounded booths. The historical status of the building and solid food and service has obviously worked. I will be back.

I think I went in, expecting a little more "fancy", which it isn't. It is however fantastic food, that is enjoyed by locals, which shows their consistency of food quality. A bit of a confused theme somewhere between cowboy, and lobster, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Stockyard, just wasn't the high end steakhouse we were expecting.

Everything on the menu at Stockyard is fantastic however one thing stands above all. They serve the best prime rib ever! Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, every bite is a delight. The expertly cooked meat is a carnivore's dream come true. From the first slice to the last, it's a dining experience that's hard to forget. A must-visit for any steak enthusiast.

Ask for a medium done steak and get perfection! From walking in the door and being promptly greeted and seated by a wonderful maitre d' to an excellent experience with the waitress, to a polite conversation with the manager regarding the experience, nothing was less than excellent. Flavor and texture of the steak was outstanding. A solid recommendation on sides was appreciated and on point. The hot bread cannot be overlooked, either. After dinner cup o' coffee was delivered and served in high fashion. An overall excellent dining experience. P.S. - it's not a seafood place, but the chowder held its own against the steak!
