A pleasant dining experience. The staff is professional and courteous. The food was good, but didn't necessarily get blown away. Went on a Sunday night, so all restaurants in the neighborhood were very busy. One issue comes to mind, I had to request fresh black pepper a few times before I was given some. They gave me powdered black pepper initially twice. Seemed a tad but strange since it's not a unique request. Portion sizes were just right for me. Fresh bread was served at the start. Food arrived very quickly upon ordering.

Nice place! Every employee we encountered was pleasant and professional. Our server, Silvi, was attentive and personable. The bathroom was very clean. The food presentation was lovely. We had sausage ravioli which I thoroughly enjoyed and calamari that was beautifully cooked but lacked seasoning. I would certainly recommend this restaurant!

This is the oldest restaurant in that area, service was really good, ambience can get improved specially the booths, and maybe add a couple of restrooms will help to keep the line for the washrooms short. The food was ok, we ordered fried Calamari which was a bit bland some salt and pepper will do the trick, the meat ballâs appetizer were really good and their sauce was amazing, so I did my calamari in that sauce. May husband ordered Bombolotti alla boungustaia and I ordered Gnocchi alla Norcina. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was not too expensive, we enjoy dinner but it was very filling, I couldnât finish the gnocchi.

A great place to go with family or friends!!
A great atmosphere with plenty of room. Doesnât feel crowded like some places.
The staff was on point considering we had a larger party they were making their rounds pretty regularly refilling drinks and asking questions.
The food was great plated with perfection full of bold classic Italian flavor.
I recommend this place for a night out with the wifey or a get together with friends!!!

Outstanding food and service. One of few that you can make a reservation, and they were right on time. I arrived 10 minutes before and they sat me immediately. Many classic dishes. Very attentive waiters. Nice soft bread and great wine choices. Food plates are generous, almost large in portion size and it was delicious. My chicken saltimbocca was amazing! Can't wait to go again.

I can not say enough good things! We came at the wrong time for the reservation we had made, and they accommodated us! The service was spectacular and the food was even better! If we ever go back to Boston, I will return for sure!

Food comes in decent size portion! Very good and they basically unlimited bread but itâs a bit dry and bland. Food took a bit longer than expected but it was pretty busy so I recommend making a reservation

Wanted authentic Italian, so we went to the North End Little Italy. We happened by Catalina Italian, and what a delight. Fresh homemade pasta and bread. Great Sangria. Vegetarian options are available as well.

Excellent service, great alcoholic beverages. Margaritas, side cars, martinis were delicious. And the food was delicious and will be coming back here again in the future. A true genuine Italian restaurant with amazing food.

From the reservation process online to the end of an amazing meal, 5 stars all around! Orazio was our server and he was FANTASTIC authentically Italian. I had the GNOCCHI ALLA NORCINA and it was exquisite. I had some leftover and ate it for breakfast the next morning! My husband ordered the SPAGHETTI CON POLPETTE and it was exceptional, the meatballs were huge and so tasty. I also ordered the white sangria and it was delicious. We didn't have room for dessert, but it all sounded yummy. They kept our water glasses filled, the food came quicker than I expected due to the packed house! They do bring you bread and oil while you wait, so don't order the garlic bread appetizer if you are just looking for a little bread to start your meal. Although, it was good, too! Delizioso!

I went to the Cantina on Hanover Street for Fatherâs Day. There were six of us. The service was attentive without being overbearing. They explained the menu well when some of my family had questions. Everyone enjoyed the food. I had veal Parmesan, which was excellent. It is more impressive to me that the service and food was excellent on a holiday. We will definitely be back again.

Delicious!!! So filling! Had the bombolotti alla bolognese - such HUGE PORTIONS!! Service was A+ and you definitley need a resi for big groups. Burrata app is a MUST. Just donât fill up on the bread beforehand đ

My food was awesome, really enjoyed bombolotti pasta. The bar tender was nice and took good care of us mostly but he was basically taking care of the entire restaurant's drinks so would get a bit backed up, but everything was so good that it doesn't phase my happiness with the meal.

On a busy Saturday night, as we entered overheard people saying there's an hour wait. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server provided excellent service. We eat out frequently and have never been in and out of an Italian resturant in such a speedy fashion. Instantly. The bread, olive oil arrived. We ordered. Less then a few minutes later our appetizers came. As we just finished them the dinner arrived.
Everything was piping hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend this place.

This was not up to north end standards. Had to ask for for bread. Butter was served in packets like a fast food chain. Had to ask for grated cheese. Meals were sub par for the North End. Service wasnât great. Didnât have Angel Hair pasta. They never offered us dessert. So many better places available. I wouldnât go back or reckomemd this place.
