What an amazing restaurant with great food and cocktails. My husband loved the Death & Taxes. The Rye Paper Plane cocktail was delicious, too.

Had a great time tonight at Grill 23 & Bar. The restaurant is beautiful inside and has that really cool "old school" steakhouse feel to it. The food was solid, and the service was nice as well. I would definitely return.

Update; 2nd visit. Just as good as the first, if not better. Trust the wait staff. Trust the somms. They know of what they speak. Food once again solid. Completely bullet proof experience whether you are a 1 top or a party of 14. These people know and understand hospitality very very well. Period. E
The holidays are always a good time to go to Grill 23. Food was top notch (filet cooked exactly correct) big salad, and the seafood tower.
Drinks were spot on, service is always excellent. Make your reservations early-I had to make a Saturday night reservation in December a month in advance.
The service here truly is exceptional and the Christmas decorations were lovely. The seared scallops were delicious and there is an almost infinite amount of booze options.
We made reservations without realizing the chiqueness of the restaurant. We were two adults and two kids (aged 8 and 5). We were nervous that the wait staff would be annoyed with the kids - it didn't seem like a kid-friendly restaurant since there were no kids' menu. But boy, were they so ever nice
It's an experience. We came from a recommendation of a friend who told us he had the best steak in is life here. Turn it to be pretty accurate and everything we tasted was excellent. The service is really a notched over the rest. Glad we stopped by.
Best steakhouse in boston. Had the salmon last time and that was equally amazing! Love this for a family night (we’re all adults) or business dinner. Get the cookies for dessert and load up on sides!
I had the American Kobe cap steak cooked medium and it was perfect. I also had a side of mashed potatoes also very good. Service was excellent.
