Quaint restaurant with high quality plates. 75 Chestnut is an underrated option right off the busy Charles St., a great place for a date night or to take your parents. Definitely recommend!

Leaving this place, I knew I needed to leave a review! Impromptu, i made a reservation about 2 hours before, not even knowing their special that was happening! To my surprise they had a lovely Wine Wednesday special. One starter, one entree and 2 glasses of wine for $39 pp. I was interested in nearly everything on the special’s menu, but landed with the chardonnay (which usually im a pinot grigio girl, but this was nice and sweet!), coconut shrimp (as per the recommendation of the bartender), and the schnitzel. Im not usually one to finish a meal, i love leftovers, but this… i finished it! It was so delicious. The sauce served with the coconut shrimp was just spicy enough. The apple brandy on the perfectly crisped schnitzel, delectable. The veggies and pretzel served with that as well were such a nice treat as sides. I was enjoying my book, so decided to order an espresso martini after finishing my meal. I am a self proclaimed espresso martini connoisseur, and this one is probably the best i’ve had in Boston since moving here 3 months ago. The service was great here, i witnessed the hostess clearing, serving, and taking orders which i think is just great, she’s a team player for sure! One last thing to note, im usually not noticing this, but, the playlist was great! Natalie Cole, Fleetwood Mac, Lionel Richie. Kudos to whoever made the playlist! Thank you! I will definitely be back!

These crab cakes were the best thing we ate on our trip to Boston. The best crab cake I have ever had and will forever compare crab cakes to. Must have dish! The fish and chips and stew were also very tasty. But the crab cakes left a most lasting impression!

Wow! So glad we couldn't get into the restaurant we had chosen a couple blocks away. Just picked 75 Chestnut off Google maps, and so happy we did. The food and atmosphere was great. Try the crab cakes or seafood stew. I'd go back again in a moment.

Quite an enjoyable dining experience the service is solid, and the food is excellent! We largely had appetizers for dinner, and they were all well-balanced and full of flavor. Clam chowder, salad, etc. was great! Will return again.

Ate dinner here with the family. The drinks, food, location, and even music were all perfect. The lamb was seasoned and cooked just right. The blood orange salad was really good. The appetizer bread and butter was delicious. There was inside and outside seating, with a small bar area. Would definitely make a reservation bc not a huge restaurant.

A smaller more private setting, that they decorate with seasonal attire. The staff are attentive and well versed. The meal options are diverse and centered around seasonal ingredients. The cocktails are creative and delicious, but could be a bit stronger.

This restaurant is definitely a favorite for locals. It offers outdoor seating, great cocktails, and absolutely delicious food. The staff was all super nice as well. If you go, make sure to get the Pineapple Elderflower Cosmo. Yum!

We had the most amazing dinner tonight for 6. The food from the appetizers, bread and so many different choices on the menu. I had the Duck Special and it was the best. We took our time, the wine and drinks were amazing and top wine list and right down to our shared desserts.... This may be the best restaurant in Boston and the ambiance and warm atmosphere was truly wonderful. We could of sat all night to breakfast in the morning. 5 star plus!

I went with friends to celebrate two birthdays and we had such a wonderful time! Drinks and food were great; everyone was so kind and wished us happy birthdays and brought us desserts to celebrate!

This place came very highly recommended but unfortunately didn’t super meet expectations. It was fine, don’t get me wrong, but not really worth the hype or the price. Vibe was nice, but few vegetarian options. We got the fall harvest flatbread which felt undercooked (the dough was very … doughy) and the harvest bowl, which had a tasty sauce but the brussel sprouts were weirdly way too oily. Had a good time, and glad I tried it, but not sure I would recommend it as aggressively as has been recommended to me.

Great ambiance and food. I really liked how small and quite yet comfortable it is. It's a cool and romantic date place and great to talk to friends. I got a quiona bowl with a substution of quiona with spinach, I really liked the flexibility and friendliness. Lava cake was bomb and smelled the best. Parking is a little tricky but we found off street parking in walking distance. I would come here again.

I dined at 75 Chestnut in Boston with 3 of my coworkers. We were in town for a business trip. 75 Chestnut not only had curb appeal but the interior looked really cozy and inviting when we visited this restaurant in January 2019. Right away, we were seated near the bar at the table next to the front windows. We each placed orders for our drinks. I can't remember what I initially wanted to order because, that evening, they had run out of that item. Instead, I settled for their Herb-Crusted Atlantic Cod. To my surprise, this became my favorite meal in Boston! It was amazing! The cod was tender and moist, the veggies were sweet with freshness, and the herb crust rounded out the entire dish. We had a great dining experience that night and the staff was great! I wouldn't mind coming back on my next visit to Boston.

I was asked if I had a reservation on a Sunday morning around 11:30, which I did not, but they seated me. However, it really wasn’t all that busy. The service was good and the food was excellent. I had the lobster omelet and my companion had raspberry stuffed French toast. The coffee was very good as well.
