Calico's

We we’re staying locally in February and felt like pizza for our evening meal. We stopped in this shop and we’re not disappointed. It seems to be family run. Everyone working quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed the experience so much we went back for sandwiches the next day - they were full and meaty, made to order. The pastrami was very lean. We tried a mango smoothie and chocolate shake both quite good. You won’t be disappointed if you go by.

I ordered a medium hawaiian pizza as recommended by one of the locals. It was more than enough for one. Though i wish they would cut it into 8ths not 4ths. The pizza tasted great. Very cheesy and not that fake tasting cheese even after it has gotten cold. Thier stuff was so good. I think they make their pizza from scratch so it took about 30 minutes to make mine. Seems like a popular place bacause someone came and ordered about 10pizzas. So it would be over an hour until they could start any otger orders. The place is cute. Very nice looking restaurunt. They had slushy machines and coffee machines. Their menu had all kinds of sandwiches and milkshakes. One of the chefs even had a very nice uniform!

I had a coupon that was at least 3 years old and they accepted it kindly. I got a large sausage pizza and it was absolutely yummy. The atmosphere is fun, the background music was uplifting and I felt happy being there. The service was top notch also. I will return for more of their tasty menu someday. See photos!
