Excellent haddock just the way it should be! Simple menu - whole fish in a dish $16, fries $4, or fish sandwich. Open 11-2 Tues - Sat. (mid May - mid Oct). Yummy!
Cute fish fry shack with huge portions! There’s parking on site and picnic tables with umbrellas. Service was quick, and the food was delicious. There’s a vending machine out back for drinks ($3 each). This is a cash only restaurant. It seemed to be a popular spot for both locals and tourists!
My family rates this as the best fried fish they have ever eaten. The fried fish is perfectly battered. It's light and flakey. It's perfectly fried. You can get hand cut fries that are perfectly fried. We will put this place down as a must the next time we are in town and will rave about this place

This place is as legitimate as it comes. Mother and daughter been there for 25 plus years doing the same two dishes over and over again. Cooked to perfection. Be sure you go to the right place, the new place around the corner is not bets!

The large dish and chips meal fed an adult and two kids with leftovers. We love this place and make a point to stop by every time we are in the area.
This place has the best fried fish. We try to stop here whenever we come to Boothbay. The staff is fantastic and the fish is fresh and always delicious.
Not the traditional fish and chips. The fish is lightly pan fried. Very tasty. Can’t make my mind up if the tartar sauce or dill sauce is better…
Great haddock! The large fish & chips is definitely big enough for 2 people, unless you really want to be stuffed. Two of us managed to finish this off :-)
Great haddock & French fries. Was here 8 years ago and have mentioned Bet's to anyone we knew was going to be in area. Still as good did not disappoint!

It was good. I wish they had a better choice of hot sauce, as my only complaint. But it was good. Fries were OK as well.

You won't find a larger portion of fish anywhere. Ever. I dare you to try. Very good, affordable, really nice people.
