Sean behind the bar was polite, respectful, and intuitive. The Fried Mahi sandwich and steak fries were great! Hot, fresh, and tasty! Love the atmosphere here. They were kind to let me in so close to closing. Kind and assertive!
Pinchers, a long-time restaurant staple in Bonita Springs never disappoints. A favorite of both locals and tourists known especially for their seafood but there are plenty of other options.
The food was great. I had a softshell crab sandwich and my wife had the hogfish sandwich. A cup of shecrab soup and aome conch fritters. The conch fritter lacked conch so I would avoid them. There was a sign that said Golf in the 100s and fish in the 90s 80s and 70s. We asked the waitress what it meant and she brought a manager over and know one knew. Most of the signs posted seemed to be funny some how. So if anyone at the restaurant knows please respond. Great place to eat. Its a must if you enjoy seafood.
Incredible service, Sam our server is a rock star..never more than 30 seconds away when you wanted something. The food is fantastic. Recommend you try the cheesy crab dip with some of their 1 pepper hot sauce(use some caution, scotch bonnets and habenero pepper base) blackened chicken tacos were really tasty. The key lime pie is Incredible also. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Bonita Springs. Very fun, lively place to eat and grab a cold drink..
Decent restaurant. Kids eat free with adult meal purchase. My kids ate all the crackers they put on the table. Everything was good. No issues.
Really nice place, great concept, tasty food. Everything we ordered came prepared as we liked and was very good. The attention to detail was also amazing. A manager happened to see my wife wiping at her blouse because she thought she had drip some sauce on it. Out of nowhere he comes over with a glass of seltzer water for her to dab the stain! Amazing that he would take the initiative to do that.
From start to finish Chris our waiter gave us a phenomenal experience! Food was reasonable, perfectly and BOLDLY seasoned and served very quickly and piping hot even though it seemed to be very buys! The specials are great during happy hour (4-6pm) and I would suggest visiting then although any other time pricing is reasonable as well.
Chris made us feel very welcome and was perfectly attentive. He gave the level of service you would get at a $50+ a plate restaurant.
Amy the manager made the rounds to check on us personally and to insure we were happy with everything. But she wasn’t the only one! We had busboys and even the hosts when the passed by always made sure we were having a lovely evening.
Many places have a specialty that they excel in. I cannot say that about pinchers. Every single thing served to us was excellent and I would order again.
I cannot wait to go back soon and I’m sad I found this restaurant as I will be spending a lot more dining out!
Went to grab a post-sunset dinner with my husband. The food was all fine, it is just terrible over-priced for what it is - that’s where they lost a star for me. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu has lots of options. The BOGO beer makes it seem like a decent deal. I wish they had cooked the shrimp and crab legs with flavoring and I hadn’t had to just ask for old bay or more lemons. Seems odds that a seafood joint wouldn’t have don’t that by default.
We had a great time here, 7 evenings in a row. Staff is fun. Very airy and open, even inside.
2 for 1 Happy Hour with amazing Appetizers.
Seafood Centric with variety to please all.
Try the Chilled Stone Crab Claws? Go here! Pics should help you decide!
Ordered the 3 favorite appetizers and they were all delicous. Amanda was our waitress and she was outstanding & entertaining! Definitley go to this place.
We had the happy hour oysters and shrimp. Also all day every day happy hour draft beer. As we entered we were greeted by Brandon one of the assistant managers. Friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant and the many other associated restaurants owned by a local family. Service was friendly and efficient by all serving staff.
A couple things put us off. The biggest was the advertised fresh shucked oysters. The oysters were like they had been shucked and frozen. The manager was asking how things were and I asked if they actually shucked the oysters fresh to be served. He first said yes and then rebuttal with well fresh today. He then walked away. Brandon who had met us as we came in came by and I shared my distaste for the poorly served oysters. He then apologized saying that not all locations are managed the same and that some of the other restaurants in the organization are held to a higher standard. Sharing his experience at multiple locations even assisting in rebuilding after the last storm. My overall experience was good and in the future I will be sure to ask if the oysters are truly fresh.
We ate at Pinchers for lunch (group of 5) on a Saturday around 11:30. We enjoyed several rounds of margaritas, two appetizers of the crab and tortilla chips, and we each had a meal. The lightly fried grouper was a hit - one of us had the sandwich and the other one had the platter. The grouper was delicious. The meals are served with two sides - the green beans were very good! The french fries were good too. The only meal that was not good was the crab cake dinner. We have had crab cakes from many places and these were not good because it was mostly filling and very little crabmeat (if any). So, I definitely recommend the appetizer, margaritas, grouper, and the fried shrimp, but I do not recommend the crab cakes. We had good service today.
Excellent evening at Pincers with a couple cold beers and the Grouper bites and crab with cheese and multi colored tortilla chips appetizers...Then the Alaskan King crab with drawn butter w/ Fresh Lemon, green beans & coleslaw and a nice rice mix. The finish was Key Lime pie. Outstanding service from Brie and the expedition- manager kitchen Team. Very niceeeeeeee presentation, The food was hot. I can highly recommend this location for an excellent evening out. Blessings JMAC 😉🇨🇮😎
Note to the head chef 😲 After cleaning the oysters , they need to be washed with cold water and then served in a plate . So that there are no small pieces left in the shell ...
Excellent service! Fun and popular place; food was very .good. I especially liked the cheesy crab dip and my orange mojito. Dog friendly patio.
