When I drive between Oak Island and Charlotte, I always call ahead and order, typically, a breakfast sandwich - Sausage and egg, bologna and egg, etc. Absolutely delicious! Cheeseburgers are excellent as well. And the prices are great! What's not to love? My only regret is all those years I drove past Freeman's Grill and never stopped!

My husband had the catfish sandwich and I had the shrimp burger! We both loved what we ordered and we will definitely have both again when we are around the area! Service was excellent as the staff was very friendly and helpful!

This is some of the best food I’ve had in years!!! The staff was friendly and the food was hot and delicious. We had a table full of food lol. Catfish sandwich, burgers, pork chop sandwich, wings chili cheese fries and a few other items. We loved it! This will be our stop from now on!

This place is a hidden gem. It was easily overlooked but worth the stop. I love the breakfast plates. The burgers and hot dogs are those old school ones. Super fresh hamburger meat. The chicken sandwich is also a favorite. Can't go wrong with anything on this menu.

Stopped by on the way to Holden Beach. My husband got the catfish sandwich with a fried egg based on their recommendation & said it was delicious. I got the chili cheese fries. Very generous portion of crinkle fries that managed to be perfectly crisp on the outside even after being absolutely smothered in chili and cheese. There was an interesting sweetness to them as well, which I found enjoyable. My 4 year old got a cup of cookies and cream ice cream while we were waiting on our food, which was actually perfect, as he would have been climbing the walls otherwise after being in the car about 5 hours 😄 My older son got a grilled cheese that was gone in maybe 4 bites, per typical teen fashion. Drinks were bottled. Great food and warm hospitality. No frills, but we didn't need any. Definitely recommend of you're in the area and want something quick and tasty 😋

The man running the grill knows his stuff! Cheeseburgers made with diced onions cooked inside but the catfish sandwich is the star here! Listen to the man!!! Try it with cheese,mayo and a fried egg!!! It’s amazing!!!

Fresh, Fresh. Fresh!!! Prepared while you wait. Homemade cheeseburger like my Mom used to make...fresh iceberg lettuce...so delicious! Fully cooked.
Next time...I'm trying the grits!
