Marks And Spencer Cafe

I love marks and spences very much . Their lingerie and night wear is really nice. They have designs , coloufull tops and sweaters ! 🙂 But i gave four stars because of the prices in the clothing area ! The clothes are nice but the material is not top class like it's not out of the ordinary !! And due to covid , budget and jobs are quiet difficult now a days ! Most people were furloughed , salaries were cut !! And secondly ,If you are doing job and have to buy clothes for your office or luxury use like parties and stuff then for that purpose it is a bit over the top prices !!!😔 I mean the clothing is being made from Pakistan ,India and Bangladesh etc and the labour is quiet cheap there so if we look into the prices they are accordingly high as the material is not like branded clothes so they should look into their prices as well. Like i saw a simple tiger print full sleeves shirt and it was £22 in total which is not cool at all because the material was not superb then other stores are selling as well . So why £22 for one shirt ?! I mean then you can buy more on the same day if you are out on a shopping spree !🤭 They really have to look for the prices as the shirts after one wash seems to be are just like any other shirt . The material does not stay for months sadly so what is so different about them to keep high prices !

I like this branch very much, I've known many of the staff for years and they are always friendly. I'm just glad Bolton has an M&S in challenging times for retail. It's the heart of shopping in this town, and I hope despite the shoplifting and people smashing the doors in the other week, it keeps going. The range of food is fantastic for a small town, love the cafe, and so many things you just cannot get anywhere else.

In the store this week as I was waiting to be served I observed a young sales assistant called Helen patiently dealing with an elderly lady. It turned out to be a very complicated task but the assistant never sounded rushed or impatient. She even accompanied her round the store to find the items she needed. I feel she deserves special commendation for it is rare today to find such service. Well done Helen!
