Tilted Kilt Bolingbrook

Driving from StL to N.Chicago, this was where I stopped for lunch. It would not have been my first choice of place, but when I pulled off the highway for gas and lunch, this was pretty much the only non-fast food option I saw. The food was prepared well, and the young woman at the bar kept my water with lemon filled.

This is the only Tilted Kilt remaining in Illinois! The food is alright: spinach artichoke dip wasn't great and the pub pretzel is just OK, but the irish nachos are pretty good and the fried pickles are excellent. Service is your typical gals in plaid skirts, lots of TVs with various sports on. Solid weekly specials on food and booze, too!

Amazing place I stumbled upon it give Applebee's meets hooter's vibes and it was very unexpected.... the servers/barkeep was amazing and extremely nice and welcoming. I ordered the samples and it was delectable. ... to be clear the place is 1000% better than Apple what? Or sleaze what ? this is a MUST TRY ..

The server was very friendly. Food was really good; enjoyed the build your own burger & pork sandwich. Beer & cocktail menu was good, liked the selections. The music was way too loud. Could not hear one another across the booth. Other people had mentioned this to us, warning it was loud - but dang, it was extremely loud! 5 stars if music wasn’t so loud.

The food was delicious, we ordered chicken tenders with fries, motherclucker chicken sandwich and a pasta plate. Everything was delicious. The waitress was really great and would always come back to see how everything was. Great friendly, customer service. I brought my kids and my daughter even left a sweet note thanking the waitress.

Lots of American beer, but no Scottish ale. My wife had their shepherd's pie, while I had "Gaelic chicken" in an Irish whiskey cream sauce over cavatappi pasta, with garlic bread, which we both enjoyed. A Scottish FB friend had recently died, so I has hoping to...I don't know... bond, empathize and/or lament through cuisine, but while their food & service was good, the name seemed to be more about the waitresses' uniforms, than the culture. I'd eat there, again, but without the expectation of a Scottish experience.

Show up for the food, but stay for the view if you know what I mean. Similar to HOOTERS and TWIN PEAKS, but with a touch of Irish style. Delicious appetizers and great main dishes with an Irish twist. Wonderful selection of beers and drinks. Pool tables are available and even a dart board. Large screen tvs located everywhere to see all kinds of sporting events. Family friendy establishment. Plenty of parking.

Stopped in last night with a Co worker and our service was phenomenal. Our server was Hannah which she was training and she was very professional and great personality. Her trainer was just as attentive. I ordered the fish and chips and was impressed. The size of the pieces was more than enough and the tarter sauce was delicious, tasted as if it was made in house instead of store bought. They also have a huge variety of beers if you’re like myself and enjoy trying new beers. Def recommend this establishment. I will def be returning if I’m in the area!
