Country Pride

Country Pride is located inside a truck stop right off I-84. The food was better than I expected, which was a nice surprise. (Granted, the bar was set pretty low, being located inside the TA Truck Stop.) The staff was friendly enough, and the food was cooked to order on a clean grill using fresh oil. The taste of the individual items was clear, thanks to this fact. (It all didn't taste like burnt oil or scorched grill, in other words.) I will state that the class of transient patron here on the outskirts of town is different from what you'll find in town, however, but that's not a bad thing at all. Unless you're sensitive to that kind of stuff.

Occasionally I get through and eat in the restaurant when I have time. Usually decent service. Today ordered breakfast I think her name was Carla? I told her I did not get an English muffin she said she would get it. Never came then she was on break and the blonde server came withthe bill at least she took $2.69 off my bill oh it was not busy 4 customers you think 2 servers could handle that? Welcome to customer service 2022 Saturday 6/18/22 8 am

Our server seemed like she was just over it and it definitely showed in the service we received (lack thereof). I ordered hot tea with my meal and upon receiving one tea bag asked for more. I went the entire meal without a beverage as she never brought another to the table. It was almost like she purposely avoided our table. The place was not busy at all. The other server took our card for payment and my husband let her know we were unhappy with our visit. Also country pride there are many items on your menu that are supposed to come with garlic bread (stated on your menu) and every one of your establishments tells us it's unavailable. Price for these meals remains the same. Reduce the cost of these meals if you are not going to provide all items stated on your menu!

I WOULD NEVER STEP IN THIS RESTAURANT ANYWHERE, MY EXPERIENCE HERE IN BOISE IDAHO, I WAS SEATED FOR 30 MINS. AFTER EATING A SALAD AND TEA, THIS WAITRESS CAME ME AFTER WATCHING HER COME OUT WITH OTHER PEOPLES FOOD THAT WAS SEATED AFTER ME AND SAID UNFORTUNATELY WE DON'T HAVE ANYMORE CHICKEN PARMESAN AS I WATCHED I WAS SO MAD SHE ASKED DID I WANTED ANYTHING ELSE I SAID JUST THE CHECK FOR WHAT I CONSUMED SHE SAID IT WAS ALRIGHT I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY...MIND YOU SHE DID COME TO THE TABLE WITH THIS MEAL I WANTED AND GAVE IT TO ANOTHER TRUCKER BECAUSE I WANTED BROCCOLI ON THE SIDE, SO NO I WOULDN'T EAT THERE OR ANY COUNTRY PRIDE EVER !
