I love the eclectic mix of grocery here but such a great neighborhood market.
Sammy's are well made and tasty, coffee is good, and the staff are friendly. All the pastry I've had have been great as well.
It can get busy but there is a good reason for that! It can make seating etc. tough.
A gem of a place: clean, spacious, and stocked with enough goodies, beers and wine for a picnic, with a bodega-style market and delicious and well-made espresso drinks. Everything from design to inventory seems very thought out and even harkens back to the original market with some classic candies.
Bought a $20 gift card right before they unexpectedly closed last year. Didn’t panic because I was sure they’d honor it when they opened back up again. Well… wrong. I guess I made a donation.
