Very nice restaurant. Divided in two sides. Elegant side and a pizza style restaurant side. Pizza really good. Very greasy. I think they should let customers sit where they want to sit. There should be no restrictions. Very friendly staff. When you walk in. Staff should be more attentive.
Awesome food, great service. Pizza joint taken to the next level
Really nice staff, nice owner. the new setup looks great, i still get my pasta bolognese even though its not on the menu anymore. big portions and they make great salads. they make really goood drinks. very strong!!!! worth the drive and all my money
This is the absolute best slice of pizza available in the sayville / bohemia / oakdale area. ive been eating here for 20 years and you will not get better quality anywhere in this geographic area. crispy - savory - authentic PIZZA
The best Italian food. Saviano (used to be Alfieri's) is the best italian restaurant in this area, very clean, updated dining room, the food is great and Tony is always accomodating. I have never been disappointed with any meal from their restaurant. I highly recommend it.
Decent Italian Restaurant. Go here from time to time. Nice place, small but not too small. Good food and pizza.
Best grandma slices ever! Also amazing buffalo chicken slice! Sit down dining good. Big portions.fresh food.
Just average. Hero's are way too pricey for what you get. The pizza is good, but not great. Grandma pie was also good, but not exceptional.
Nice staff, but overpriced.
Saviano's.... -good great fine, not amazing- but then...
UPDATE::
I've gone back on numerous occasions since their remodel... great slices! what a turn-around. I am a huge fan of the chicken a la Vodka slice, the tomato basil, and buffalo chicken... list goes on. Haven't tried a dish yet but will be eventually.
I find that ordering a pie, doesn't yield such great results, however going in and grabbing some slices for lunch or dinner is pretty damn good.
Ordered out the other night and again I just feel the dishes are falling a bit short; Penne alla Vodka is not good, nor really Penne Alla Vodka, more like hamburger helper... Tortellini Carbonara dissatisfies as well
To reiterate, I think they have one of the best buffalo chicken slices around. Stick to the slices as the pies don't seem to crisp up enough and something is just off... which is kind of the opposite of the norm huh
Fresh ingredients plus great service make this a consistently great dining experience.
Called for a reservation, but they do not offer that option, so that was disappointing. Upon arrival, the very sweet, helpful hostess at the podium said it would be about a 20-minute wait. We waited maybe 10 minutes and were seated at a booth, which we requested, which was nice. My husband tried a slice of regular pizza for an appetizer, and he said it was excellent. He ordered the veal parmagiana and penne with meat sauce. The veal portion was generous, with 2 large veal cutlets. He enjoyed it. I had the Seafood Oreganata, which included 4 shrimp, 4 baked clams, and a piece of flounder stuffed with crab meat and scallops. It was delicious. I had a salad instead of pasta as a side. Our server was also friendly and provided great service; drink refills were quick. For a busy Friday night during Lent, we had an overall wonderful experience.
First time here, don’t know why it took me so long to visit this Italian Restaurant.
We arrived at 6 pm , we were seated quickly by two friendly hostesses.
Our server was a nice , sweet patient woman. We ordered the stuffed mushroom’s appetizer. They came out piping HOT & delicious.
We ordered two Lenten pasta and fish dishes for dinner. The shrimp scampi over capellini in scampi sauce was awesome. Although the shrimp were small. The mussels marinara was off the chart. We never made it to dessert because we were very full and both had left overs from our entrees.
I recommend Savino’s for a nice Italian meal.
Oh by the way. Took home a slice of the upside down Sicilian Pizza. Oh yeah well worth that as a night time snack.
This place is the best Italian food in this area. Always consistently good , place is always very busy but they get the food out to you in a timely fashion and it’s always delicious. I can’t say enough about this place. I just wish they delivered but understand why they cannot.
Easy to see right off of Sunrise Highway servicing Bohemia and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Pizzeria and a restaurant. Big portions and a nice staff. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.
It was my first time dining at Saviano's and it was a delightful experience. The Fried Calamari was perfectly crispy, and the Eggplant Rollatini was a heavenly blend of flavors. The Sweet End with the Affogato was the perfect finish, balancing the meal with a delightful coffee kick.
I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious Italian culinary journey.
I’m from the Atlanta GA area up here working. I wanted to try the infamous New York Pizza. I must say the Pizza is Awesome. I also had the Broccoli Pin Wheel. That is by far the best thing I have had. Phenomenal Place.
We really enjoyed the food. We placed a takeout order. The penne ala vodka was delicious. We returned the next day for more penne and again it was delicious. This will be our go-to place for that dish!
Family has been eating here since they were young and they bring us now. Food has always been better than all the surrounding Italian restaurants. That's truth
Has become our go to place for a nice italian dinner. The food is great. Lots of excellent choices. There is nothing like ending the meal there witha cup of their coffee and a delicious dessert.
First time there and I loved it. The stuffed Rigatoni was delicious. Next time I get a lunch special.
