Great food with a fantastic view. Portions are very ample. The bread basket and the charcuterie tray themselves are more than enough to serve two hungry people.
We had steamer clams with andoulee sausage, it was incredible with an extra order of toast to soak up the delicious juice. Great food, atmosphere and service, should have a 6 star!
Great casual classy vibe with top notch food and drinks and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The fireside sunset views are something to experience.
This a gorgeous place for brunch with views of Doran Beach and the ocean. The menu is selective, with everything being fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful 🌊
Excellent views and atmosphere at this well situated restaurant right on Bodega Harbor. I like the food but I'd love it more if they were a little less creative/exotic with it. Very well cooked food though and attentive service.
Impeccable service, mouth-watering Halibut, & a gorgeous setting. My father, whom I hadn't seen in years came to visit. He took me here. We dined like King! Just go! ~Namaste

They do a good job with the outdoor seating and covid precautions. They were busy but managed to seat people faster than the expected wait. Throw some grapes in the meat and cheese appetizer and your perfect. Not cheap but the quality doesn't disappoint
In my travels I've had my share of fine dining experiences. Drakes stands out more than any other. My family and I fled the Caldor fire and we took the kids out to the coast to get our minds off the threat of losing our home. We came into the restaurant a little bedraggled and weary. The staff was infinitely polite and accommodating of our family of eight. I can saw with total honesty that I've never had a better experience in a restaurant. New York, LA, Europe and the land down under have nothing on the serene coastal views and polite professionalism of the staff at Drakes. I look forward to my next visit.
The view from this place is fantastic, it's tough to beat even in Bodega Bay. The food here was delectable, and while I don't often comment on table bread theirs merits a remark, it was clearly made fresh there and it was wonderfully soft but with a crunch on the crust and a satisfying flavor that was very memorable. We went here twice while my family was visiting, my grandfather has celiac (must be gluten free) and diabetes so he has to be very careful selecting his dishes, Drake's had several options he could choose from.
Definitely make reservations though or go early, this place fills up quick.
With the Delta variant, we are still not comfortable with inside dining, even with both of us fully vaccinated. Finding the fireside lounge was a godsend. We had a great waiter, Cory, and a wonderful meal outside by the fire.
Very nice. Our server was really sweet. But it was chilly, and though there were gas heaters, they weren't uncovered or lit. Will be back and hope to get a seat at a fire pit.
Beautiful environment, Hostess could've been a little more friendly but the food was out of this world! I recommend the Salmon Eggs Benedict, the best I've ever had.
Fabulous dinner now that it's the recent off season. Cuisine and drinks in the lounge was terrific. Kudos to the very professional serving team... Shout out to Rita!
