Blue Smoke Barbeque

Wow! Just had lunch there for the first time and I have to say, I'm impressed! The pulled pork was phenomenal, homemade Mac n cheese delicious, and even the potato salad was great. The portions? You won't be disappointed in the Blue Smoke Platter! I highly recommend a visit here. Small venue, but cozy. They also serve beer, which is a plus!

The brisket was delicious!!! I will definitely go back for the brisket but I'd rather take it home to eat with my own sides and sauces, the platter is a little over priced at 14$ for two sides, slice of toast and meat. The coleslaw was decent, the Brunswick stew was different than what I'm used to, they could use some better BBQ sauce (none were really right, and even though they tried to have a variety of bases and blends but all done wrong). The staff was very friendly (although a bit frantic)...but they did there best in a bad situation. There were a few mishaps due to some management/delivery issues. We were told the food delivery truck failed to deliver so we were very limited in food choices. The computer didn't print our order to the chef so it took a little long and we just sat waiting until they realized it still hadn't come out and then retook our order to take to kitchen. There was miscommunication of our order and the sandwich was forgotton from our order/bill but they were really kind and gave it to us on the house. Everyone has a day like this at least once in a while and they handled it well. Thanks for the good effort and brisket!

Very small, a bit of a hole in the wall kinda place. I didn't order the run of the mill food for a BBQ place. I had a smoked chicken salad sandwich and can tell you it was very good. Smoked chicken, with celery, apple not sure what all with lettuce tomato on Texas toast. The others in my party tried smoked turkey, collards, potato salad, Brunswick stew, all was good. Bit of a line to order, that part was slow but the food came out pretty fast.

Came in while on vacation due to seeing great reviews. Unfortunately, we did not feel like the food lived up to the reviews. Brisket seemed reheated, very tough. Pulled pork lacked flavor. Mac and cheese has onions which was a bit of a weird surprise. Tipping prior to meal was odd and I never would of tipped the amount that I did since they do not check on you, past bringing out the meal after you order at the counter.. very self service. The establishment, bathrooms included, were clean and staff was kind ... just not famous in our world.

It’s was early afternoon and lookin for a good place to grab lunch. Staff was prompt and super sweet to us with our 19 month old little girl. Food was great Smoked wings then flash fried A+. Pulled pork A+. Wedge Salad A+. To top it off the also sell King Of Pops! That Alabama White Sauce was ridiculously awesome ... So Go Eat and be merry here.
