What a lovely experience! Showed up unexpectedly, and hostess Kate was extremely accomodating - calling a reservation that was late to discover they were going to be a no-show. We were seated immediately, served expertly by Jody, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal; including haddock chowder, lazy lobster, and shrimp & grits. I noticed that other reviews took issue with some of the prices, and I have to respectfully disagree. For this quality of food, creativity & execution, the money was well spent! Highly recommended!

Our first time, We took the mussels and the ceviche as appetizers, delicious. The halibut was very good, my fried chicken too. Not a fast food but real cuisine.

Great atmosphere. We had the flat iron steak and pork chop, both were delicious. Extensive drink selection including many from Maine.

Great food! Great service! Beautiful creekside setting. My wife and I had the oysters, a salad, the pork chop, and apple crisp. Everything was phenomenal!

Burgers and steaks are todie for! SUPERB. The staff were super cool. Great place to eat in the fall. With a gorgeous deck and river seating.

We took the whole family from teenagers to adults and we all left happy. Make sure to leave room for desert and get extra spoons to share. Wonderful local chef making yummy food. Our family ordered across the menu. From fried chicken to roasted halibut and we all love our meals. A must stop for wonderful dinner when visiting the the Blue Hill area!!!

Great atmosphere. They were able to seat us by the river. A thunder storm rolled through while we ate and it was fantastic. The food was great and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. An all around great experience!

Deja vue all over again. Still looks and tastes like the Fire Pond. My halibut was dried out, but the hot and sticky toffee cake was unique and excellent. All together, not bad, but not great.

About the best place one can eat outside of Portland Maine. Thank you creating a restaurant in a house, set on a creek overlooking the bay with delicious daily menu! :) well done.
