Review Pho Thai Nam Restaurant - Blue Bell

Kwak Family
Very good Vietnames and Thai combo restaurant. Both the spring roll and fried rolls as appetizers were tasty. Pho (special pho) had clean but rich flavored taste. Pad Thai had a bit stronger (saltiness) taste than usual at other restaurants but in a better way. The negative was on the sautéed eggplant with chicken which was quite watery, losing the thicke, flamed sauce that cling to the chunks for better integration of flavors. The other negative is the amount of protein in the pho -- not enough for the price, IMO. Anyway, good service and (mostly) good food makes the restaurant not quite 5 but a 4.5 star place.

I don't even know why this place is over 4 star because they didn't even put sauces or any vegetables (hot peppers and etc) on the side to the order and compare to other restaurant the food is not even good. You think since this place is little but expensive than other place, it will be better but it's the worst. It was a total waste of money.

This place has good service and decent food. At first I was going to say not enough food for the price but honestly I'm just surprised at paying $16 for pho :/ But the flavor is the best within a 30 minutes drive All in all my only gripe is price For 2 people 1 appetizer A bobba tea 2 mains Tip and tax came to $55 which seems high to me

I used to go here all the time before the pandemic and would get big bowls of Pho, excellent portions and leave stuffed. Just ordered the Massaman curry thru door dash and the portion was absolutely pathetic. Paid $14 for this before taxes, delivery fee and tip. Looks like it should be the leftovers. I may do Pho here again but never anything else. Note: Paper plate is 8” round for comparison.

I’ve lived in the area for 4 years and somehow I’ve never ventured here. Better late than never! This place is fantastic. Lots of seating to space out during covid. I ordered the summer rolls and drunken noodles with shrimp and no egg to go and my food was ready within 10 min! Sorry no pics of the summer rolls as they were devoured before getting home! Cons: none Pros: the food came very fast while I was sitting there waiting. The decor was very nice, hundreds or maybe even thousands of paper cranes meticulously folded by hand. The amount of food you get is insane! I had enough for dinner and lunch the next day

Great food and pretty decor. Our server recommended the Thai tea and Bubble tea, and both were very good! I got the pineapple stir fry with tofu and the vegetables were very fresh and full of flavor, not overdone or mushy.

If you're looking for authentic, quality Thai and Vietnamese cuisine, this is the place! Delicious bubble Vietnamese coffee, appetizer sampler (not pictured, ate it too fast), pineapple grilled rice, and pad Thai!

Friendly and fast service. The food did leave a lot to be desired. The pad Thai was soggy - and very wet. More like a stir fry of all the ingredients from beginning to end instead of the timely addition of ingredients based on their cook time. My kids liked it just fine, but it’s not really good pad Thai. Masaman curry- flavor was fine, but the potatoes were undercooked. Pho was pretty good, but the soup came out less hot than it should have been. One larger meatball sliced up into 5 thin pieces, instead of the usual several smaller meatballs cut in half. Overall, food is not worth coming back for, but nothing to complain about regarding service.
