Chinatown Restaurant

Just ordered for the first time. 1. Pineapple and orange glazed chicken plus 2. Kung Po shrimp. Worst Chinese food we’ve ever had. 1. Chicken was all fat and food was unnaturally orange with little flavor. /2. Maybe 7 tiny, limp shrimp in a mountain of cubed unidentified vegetable that tasted like turnips. Flavor was awful; sort of bitter. Threw most of it out. The best part was the peanuts. Oh, they do have delicious crab Rangoon.

I ordered general tso chicken and honey chicken from this establishment through DoorDash. DoorDash was amazing and very professional. When the door dash driver arrived and the order wasn’t ready; he called me right away to let me know. After an hour and 20 minutes went by, the order finally arrived (again no fault of doordash). After waiting so long for the food, the order was not correct. When I called the store, they told me I was wrong they knew 100 percent the order was correct and told me there was nothing they could do I had to call doordash. She then changed her story and told me I had to drive down to the store. By the time I got to the store I just wanted a refund and had brought all the food I received back with me. The lady told me she couldn’t give me a refund and tired telling me that the chicken fried rice was honey chicken. I am no expert in Chinese food; but i have had honey chicken before. She then screamed at my in Chinese and proceeded to try to not pay me. Only after I threatened to have to have the police come did she then throw my money at me and kick me out. Save yourselves the time and hassle and just order from China city.

If there is one thing I know its American Chinese fast food. This place is by far the best tasting in the area. Only downfall is you have to be prepared for shady business. Customers will be charged more then what the menu price is not including tax if not aware. Also, they offer deals ( example if you spend 15$ or more you get a free soda) but if you dont specifically ask for the free soda they will charge you for the one you asked for when fully aware your entitled to a free one. Tactics are shady & petty when it comes to the money. Food is still good though.

It was just ok. The customer service was good. We ordered dishes with both chicken and beef. Both meats had the texture of solid, warm fat, like what you cut off of a steak. This tells me it was probably really cheap meat. The dishes did have a nice flavor, though maybe a bit too much salt. My recommendation is to get it, but choose dishes without meat.
