Lightstreet Hotel

Lightstreet was so good! The service was so quick, I was shocked at how quickly food/drinks came out. Our waitress was also super nice and had only been there for about a month. She was really knowledgeable about the menu. The highlight was the burger. Probably the best I've had! My boyfriend got the skewered lobster, and I had the Hoss burger. SO good. Our friend got the seafood Alfredo and that was also tasty! That had a bit too much sauce for his liking though. The spinach dip was also fantastic. The fishbowl drinks were huge and strong. Highly recommend those. They were a one and done for sure! For the price, you really get your money worth here!

As always, and by choice, we sat at the bar to eat. The food was great. The bartender was friendly, perfectly attentive, but not overbearing. Really comfortable atmosphere. Very reasonably priced for the quality of what we had. Only reason for 4 stars, is they need to give people alittle time between courses. Really hate getting my meal right after my appetizer is delivered. Weren't even half done with the apps. Still would return and ask to have time between courses.

Lightstreet is one of our favorite local places! Absolutely worth driving out of downtown Bloom to go here. Their nachos are spectacular; they're the driving force for us wanting to go, but everything we've had there - specials, drinks, regular menu - is always good. Only one time did we have a complaint of my boyfriend's steak coming out cold, but they were slammed, and balanced against all the good food we've had, we can't fault them for that. Also, a lovely patio in their backyard and some seats in front too.

I visited the hotel for dinner . The French onion soup was good . My vodka & cranberry tasted only of juice. I ordered the prime rib (rare) with asparagus and baked potato . I sent the prime rib back as it was cooked well done (the waitress was hesitant to send my food back and I had to ask twice) . The second prime rib I received was good better but still not as I had ordered it . The baked potato was good. The asparagus was fully drowning in butter . This restaurant was not my favorite , I wouldn’t return .

Food was good. Drinks were good Atmosphere was good. We enjoyed dinner outside next to the fire. We had the pierogie platter, nachos, and wings. The nachos had beer cheese and a jalapeño bacon ranch that was yummy. Also the chips were homemade. We had 3 sauces for the pierogies - whiskey bar b que, garlic parm, and gold envy which tasted similar to the jalapeño bacon ranch. All were very good. We also tried a coconut fishbowl, and an apple sangria, again both delicious. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely go again.
