I could literally die for some Wasi food right now. I use to live in Belleville/Nutley and this was my go-to restaurant. I get the chicken saltado all the time and it's so flavorful. I've been to different Peruvian restaurants and nothing compares. Fries are fresh and crispy. The rice is not drenched and soaked with sauce. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 star is because, they are a bit stingy with the green sauce. I LOVE their green sauce but, you have to pay extra and the cup is so small. Overall, I love this place but I hope they change the sauce cup for that green sauce.

Called to make an order for pick up, lady on the phone was extremely rude. I asked where I can see their menu and all she did was continue a conversation with someone else while I'm on the phone with her. So I hung up to look for the menu and called back to finally order, she decided to block my call. I tried 5 times and I kept getting blocked. I asked my boyfriend to call and they answered. Terrible customer service. Makes me never wanna order from them again even if the food was good.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ordered a Surf and Turf Chaufa; the dish had no flavor, low quality ingredients, and small. At $19.25 it’s overpriced, which I was willing to overlook for good food, but that was not the case. I’m Peruvian, and can say my lunch was disappointing. Took pictures as proof, but unable to post. Additionally, it says a lot about a business that response to criticism confrontationally and in a nasty manner.

Delicious, savory, flavorful Lomo sandwich, had it this morning and came back later today to try the chicken stir-fry, Amazing! Perfectly seasoned and prepared healthier than I’ve ever had it anywhere else. I’m Peruvian and I know my Peruvian food, Impeccable and authentic! I’m very happy I discovered, I just moved a year ago and have tried every restaurant in the area, this place is 5 minutes away from my house so I’m excited to try everything on the menu!! Service was very nice, sweet and polite but the dishes I had and saw come out are five stars quality!!!

it is over priced they are very unprofessional. They are always backed up on orders and will make you wait a very long time. very unorganized staff the lady that does the register and touches all the money is the same lady that goes to the back and helps cook your food and they always deny me any extra sauce I want. In general this was a horrible experience when it comes to customer service. I would give them a zero stars if that was an option.

Rude and unprofessional even to answer the phone.Worst when you go to pick up the food. The middle age lady that answers and take orders over the phone just doesnt want you to go there. And she is not the only rude there. She should be stay away from the direct contact to the public.Sorry if your are the owner but you need to own that you are not ready to deal with customers.Peruvians waiters and waitressess can be the worst.. Hire some Colombias and you will learn how to treat customers...is not a secret!!!This restaurant deserve no stars for now and there is not intended discrimation.Just the hard truth.Up to you if you want to use criticism in a positive way!Btw Dont call Peruvian food , cheap food.Peruvian food can be affordable or not and can be tasty or not...but it is never cheap food!!!

This is a cute CLEAN and small TAKEOUT Peruvian restaurant NOT a popular place for $7 menus to feed 2 or more or a typical Paterson restaurant with high Peruvian population. If you want to eat something good, fresh and prepared on the spot like a home meal then this is the right place to call or go for a takeout. I am Peruvian and it really infuriates me when Peruvians expects to feed all their family members for under $10 or they demand big portions because a bigger restaurant in Paterson does it, Then take a ride to Paterson! People are so ignorant with their comments, and don’t think how hard and expensive it is to maintain a small business.
