Thai Street Kitchen

I was very impressed with the service. I walked in wanting to place a take out order and was greeted right away. They are efficient with a kiosk for ordering. It is nice because you can see pictures of everything. They say contactless payment only but if you ask nicely, they will accept cash. They have a nice dining room with plenty of seats. I ordered the Bangkok Chicken, it was good but not something I would order again. It came with white rice and was mild in spice. I did miss Thai noodles and will stick with those in the future.

The place is clean and nice. Fast service. However, taste is far from authentic with small serving size . I ordered Pad Thai and the sauce is clear and thin almost like a soup. tea seems like transferred from a can to a small styrofoam cup. I felt I got overcharged and not satisfied when I left the place.

I’ve never been disappointed ordering from this great restaurant. The food is always piping hot when I order a carry out. So, I know it’s freshly prepared. This past weekend I decided to dine in. They’re short on staff, so therefore, you order your food the same like you’re taking out, but instead, the order is prepared in paper bowls and a tray. Real simple, eat, discard your waste, and move on. The staff is always friendly and the inside is always clean.

The first time I had the food here, I dined in. I got the vegetable curry and it was AMAZING. I thought this place would replace my fave Thai restaurant. Everything was fresh and delicious. I loved it so much that I told my Co workers we should order out this past Friday for lunch. This time I got the shrimp pad Thai. It was SO DISAPPOINTING! Tasted very plain, and the noodles were over cooked and kind of wet. None of my co workers seemed to enjoy their food either or they had to doctor it up to make it taste decent. I will try again, but it will be my last time if my favorite Thai dish tastes like this on the regular.

I was up at my buddy's place, and we were trying to figure out where to get carry out. We knew that we wanted Thai food and how I picked this place was because they had lettuce wraps We called our order in, and the lady on the phone was amiable and answered questions. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and chicken lettuce wraps, and my buddy got Pad Thai with vegetables. We get there, and the lady who gave us our food was excellent and pleasant. It may have been the same person I talked to on the phone. I am terrible with names. So we get back to my buddy's place, and I dig into the lettuce wraps; by the way, they were delicious. But when I dug into my chicken Pad Thai that is where it went downhill. The Pad Thai had no flavor to it whatsoever. I feel like they may have forgotten to add the sauce because it tasted exactly like plain cooked noodles would taste with no sauce. I ended up throwing most of it away. It wasn't very good. I tried some of my buddy's pad thai, and it tasted like how I would expect it. I am not saying I would not give it another chance. I know restaurants are struggling to get help. I would be willing to give it another shot.

I have been thoroughly impressed by this restaurant. I am a huge lover of curry and I'm not sure what it is but the red curry at Thai Street Kitchen is one of my favorites! It might have something to do with the quality of the ingredients used. I for one have no problem spending more on nourishing food. I love the fact that I can eat out and know I'm not compromising. The portion sizes are generous as well.
