Pizza Papalis

Ok pizza. They use good ingredients, but I’m just not a fan of this thin rust or the deep dish. I would eat it again, but it will not be the first to come To mind when ordering pizza. To me the crust was crispy and tasted like a totinos pizza crust. So much topping the dough was raw underneath. Even on just a small which is big enough for two possibly three. If my review was helpful please like and follow me please!

This was our first visit to this location and our 2nd visit to a PizzaPapalis ever. We had an awesome experience from the moment we walked in the door, Nikki was very patient while we decided on what to order, answered all of our questions, etc... the food was delicious and very filling, I only really have one complaint... did you really have to make the garlic cheese sauce so addictive? Anyways, sorry I got sidetracked, we will definitely be back, thanks for a great meal and great service.

After a last minute catering order cancellation at another mexican fast food place, I call this location to ask if they could help! They were gracious enough to whip everything up for our team of 15 and our order picked up within an hour of my call. Thank you so much, you saved the day. Food was great, salsa/chips are awesome and the provided set up for catering made for a great spread.

Rio Wraps has been my favorite place to eat burritos at since I first ate at one in the early 2000s with my favorite item being the Rio Bravo. I love the small spinach deep dish pizzas at Pizza Papalis too. A shame this is literally the last one that's still open in the entire state. This one is a bit further away from me than the John R location but hopefully it continues to stay open for a long time.

Food was just okay. Was expecting it to have the same good taste as the one in Greektown but it did not. We dined in, were the only people dining in, and the pizza was brought to us lukewarm. Not hot like it just came out of the oven. We waited about 35-45 minutes for our order and I'm thinking that the food was ready a little bit before that. Also...tomato slices were thicker than even on burgers. Maybe they were just having a bad day.

I have eaten here for about 20 years including a 9 year break due to living across the country. Every time I come here for 20 years it tastes exactly the same. Same recipe same ingredients same everything. Which is to say that every single time I have ever eaten here it has been excellent!! What a great surprise to find the same amazing flavor again after 9 years being away! I have ordered it exactly the same for 20 years. Original burrito, tomato tortilla with chicken, rice, pinto beans, Chipotle ranch, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pico de gallo, and jalapeño. Perfect every time! I don't even like ranch but their chipotle ranch is out of this world
