I hate rating things 1 stars. It's just the price didn't come close to justifying the cost. Service was slow, 1 waitress serving the whole restaurant while 2 bartenders with no one at the bar. The owner talked to one couple right next to our table for 30 minutes and didn't even ask how our food was.

Beef tips appetizer great! Salads made a while ago and everything wilted. Wife had pasta carbonara and wasn't happy with it. I had cat fish. Changed from old way of serving. Apple slaw I had to scrape off. Catfish was good but had to ask for tartar sauce and they brought some hastily whipped up onio

Good food. Kid had the 12oz ribeye, she said it was fatty and gristly. Wife had the 6oz petite filet, it looked more like a 12oz and she said it was perfect. I had the walleye and it was delicious, However when I cut into the tomatoes in my salad they looked rotten.

Steak was delicious and cooked perfectly to medium rate perfection! Plus... STRONG drinks! Worth the drive!

Great food, great setting and the waitress was great - highly recommend eating here! A true gem.
