Service was on point and plenty of space! Great spot to bring a pup

The bartender was so welcoming and asked us where we were visiting from. Very chill spot with food trucks and great beer. One of my favorite nights in NC

Easily a new favorite brewery for us. Staff was so kind and we thoroughly enjoyed every single beer we tried, which is really rare, even as much as we love breweries! We bought some to take home too. I highly recommend if you want really quality brews and a laid back, welcoming environment.

Where the locals go! Look no further for your favorite local, independent, small town mom and pop brewery making some of the finest beers in the world. Owned and operated by some amazing folks with a deep passion and skill in their craft. Try them all! Come back for your favorites! Even better after a 10 mile hike in the rain😍

Stellar staff that is very knowledgeable about beer and other breweries in the area of interest. We loved so many of their beers! This has jumped into our top ten breweries we've visited in the US. Great outdoor seating. They fill growlers and sell canned versions of their product to go. We thoroughly enjoyed the six packs we purchased the rest of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the Asheville area breweries.

Neat brewery with solid beers. The flights are a real treat - they come with a water and a bag of pretzels! Service was great.

Visited today while on vacation. Very friendly bartender and very helpful. I split a flight with spouse. Absolutely loved my Peppers of the Caribbean pale ale. All were good but this was outstanding.

Black Mountain is a super cute little mountain town, and Lookout Brewing was an awesome way to end the hiking/downtown hop-around day. The beer was *fantastic*. If you like IPAs (and specifically hazy IPAs), this is your spot. The atmosphere and music matched the quality of the beer, and the TVs/food truck on site provided everything else you’d want in a brewery stop. Including all the breweries in Asheville/surrounding radius, Lookout easily ranks among the top of the craft breweries in my book.

Have been a few times and it’s always been good. Wrote a review this time because it was above and beyond tonight. The patio is perfect, there are heaters, plenty of space, a fire, and a food truck. Beer is always great, love their staples and test batch. Hazy IPA was exceptionally good tonight. The bartender working today did such a great job of reading the room and making everyone comfortable. After being home bound for three days with two babies, it was so worth it to get out for a beer. Love lookout and so happy to be in their neighborhood!

Let’s see your in western NC and you stop by the little town of Black Mountain. You’ve heard of Pisgah Brewing and you drive by Black Mountain Brewing but wait there’s more. Tucked away behind the Konnichiwa Japanese restaurant is Lookout! Small in the beginning these guys have grown over the years and so have their brews. They have a funky eclectic inside tap room and outside courtyard area. They’ve got a good amount of outdoor seating and comfortable atmosphere. The beers are always decent and usually we have more then our share. They also have crowlers/growler options to feed the need when you leave :). Go ahead if your in town give them a try and see what you think. Cheers!!
