My first and only experience was not good. The service sucked and the food was OK but not the best or even close... I ordered lobster tail, shrimp, and salmon combo. I got wild rice and fried okra for my sides. I left while my order was cooking and came back 15-20 minutes later and waited another 15 minutes inside. No one even asked me what I was waiting for and I realized they didn't even notice me and finally went to check on the hold up. Come to find out the salmon takes a longer time to cook and supposedly that's all I was waiting on. Was told I had to wait another 5 minutes or so. 40 minutes have gone by so far and I was getting frustrated cause I was hungry. I went to my car and came back 7 minutes later and now there's a hold up on the wild rice. Supposedly now that takes a little longer to cook and wasn't done. Cashier said oh well we were looking for you to tell you but you had left. Well I expressed that I'd been waiting inside 15 minutes and no one said anything to me and when I finally did I was only told about a wait on salmon and not rice. Somehow the cashier blames me for leaving and not waiting inside for my food the whole time. So now they offer a substitute of tomatoes and rice which I said fine because at this point its been over 45 minutes almost a hour. When my food finally came out it was such a small portion for $34. And when I got home the food was not worth my time or money I wasted. Probably wont try them again. if I do it'll be a simple basket of shrimp and fish. They were getting the basket orders out quick.

Awesome atmosphere, food was great. I had the jumbo shrimp platter and it was perfect. Service was friendly and we will definitely come again when we are in the area. We were told JPs will be moving to Darlington soon so if you head out to the races go see them!

Wonderful buffet on "Soul Sunday". Pleasant atmosphere with smooth jazz playing while you enjoy your meal. Friendly staff greet and assist you as you enter and decide what you want to eat and drink.

Me and my girlfriend went to JP's last night and the food was incredibly good and extremely fair priced. The owner was super nice and the service was excellent. If you have a chance to try the porkchop sandwich you will not be disappointed. We were told that they will be moving to Darlington so if you see them make sure to stop by!

The portions were small and I didn't enjoy the take out containers even when dining in. The food didn't have any WOW factor. Wouldn't eat eat there again.
