The Best tacos around!!!. This place has the best tacos I have tasted, I had one of each and they have an authentic taste. It is not the typical restaraunt with a menu since a Taqueria basically has the traditional foods such as tacos, burritos and tortas. They do however have other authentic food during the weekends which I have tasted and loved!!! If you are around town you need to come to this place and try it out.
I found out about this place from a student of mine who would go here very frequently. I love good authentic Spanish food, so I was very eager to try this place out. I was not disappointed at all! These tacos are some of the best I have ever had, and I have had authentic food on my travels to Honduras. I always make a point to stop by and order at least two tacos when I am in the area. Be sure to stop by if you are in the area, and I promise you will not be disappointed.
Real, authentic, delicious food served fresh and fast! Very polite staff. You won't be disappointed here. A gem hidden in plain sight! One of my favorite restaurants in all of Birmingham!

Best authentic Mexican food I've ever eaten. I have been kind of obsessed with finding these small, out-of-the-way, inexpensive taco places after accidentally discovering a really good one in Louisville Kentucky . This one was even better.
Grilled tacos , delicious shrimp tostada and pork tamale for us. One unique aspect of this restaurant compared to others, is that they bring out fresh chopped cilantro, onions, pickled onions, limes, fresh cucumber slices and an avocado sauce. They also have very good red and green sauces, along with sour cream in 3 squeeze dispensers. This allows you to get as much of the good stuff as you like , the way you want it, at the table. Honestly, I'm kind of spoiled by this now. You can really work in the hotter sauces if you know how ample sour cream is an option. The cooling effect of the sliced cucumbers and pickled onions has similar benefit.
We went for a late lunch, . So, I can't really comment on typical crowd etc., but the price was great. A lot of food for under $25 . I would give anything to have a place like this within driving distance of our home , instead of an hour away.

Great authentic Mexican food. Traditional items like tacos both soft and crispy, tamales and such. Some great spicy marinated red onions, The perfect compliment to tacos.
