Quaint location. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered catfish w/greens & potato salad, pulled whole hog w/ mac & cheese & potato salad, Chicken tender sandwich w/ mac & cheese, and rib tips w/ baked beans. Fried pork skins w/ seasoning. The service was friendly and efficient. This location is busy and a little wait is worth the scrumptious food. What makes this place run so well, the entire staff worked as a team.

Food was excellent here. The service was stellar and the ambiance and diverse seating options was a plus. Prices are a bit high but if you can afford it I'd totally recommend checking Rodney Scott's BBQ in Birmingham.

This is the kind of place I want to have at least 4 people who also like to share their food! I was in town for work so I was solo. I really wanted to order the entire menu. I ordered the whole hog pork sandwich. The sauces and greens were so good. This has got to be the best BBQ I have ever had, I cannot wait to go try other items!

Always a decision between the ribs and the wings. Also best collards and corn bread ever. Friendly staff. If you like Rodney’s food and like to cook, get his cookbook

The overall dining experience was quite pleasing. The restaurant was nicely decorated. The location was ideal. The ribs were excellent. The sauces were different than what I'm accustomed to but they were ok. The sides were good ,specifically the baked beans. My husband had mac and cheese and collards which he enjoyed.

What can I say about Rodney Scott BBQ? First time eating there. The food was season very well! The atmosphere was great! They do have an outdoor dining section and plenty of parking. I had the catfish! I'm orginally from the Mississippi Delta 💯 and I knowwwww my catfish.😏 I can truly say the catfish was the bomb!💣💣 It was fried, dyed and laid to the side, like down South Delta Style!😉👌🙌 I only had one complaint. The plate I had came with "one" piece of fish.😜 🤣I was expecting more for the price!🤑🤑 I am definitely going to go back and try something different on the menu! Go RSB!!🐖🐖

I have been to the Rodney Scott’s BBQ in Charleston and I was expecting similar level of quality. It was great food but I have had better from Rodney Scott. Wings and the Ribs were great but ribs were a bit dry. That’s the only reason I bumped it down from 5 stars.

Really solid BBQ! The main downside is that the portion size on some items is on the smaller side considering the price point (note that the paper menus show lower prices than the board/what I was charged - not cool). The first time I came, I ordered the potato and added pork… it was big and delicious! The second time, I ordered a pork sandwich and side salad and left a little hungry. Their sauces (on each table) are really good - ask for a side of white sauce, too!
