This place is a literal gem. I wanted the special of the day but they were out pretty early so I got the hamburger steak, taters and gravy, Okra and cornbread. I have no complaints. The smoked dark quarters were the best I’ve had! The greens and cornbread were superb! If we’re ever near Birmingham again, we’re eating here! The manager was super nice and the food came to us just moments after we sat down. We left full!

I confess, I don't go here for Barbeque (I've never even tried it), but their Chicken Salad sandwich on grilled Texas toast is awesome!! Topped with lettuce and slices of tomatoes that always taste fresh! Then I top it off with a piece of the homemade peanut butter cake! Love! I highly recommend tha
