Review Subway - Birmingham

Always enjoy eating fresh... I tried that new wrap 2× steak and added 🥓 Fantabulous. Clean and well kept eatery. Enjoyed eating outside in the nice weather too👍

Worst customer service experience ever! I went there for lunch today at 12:10 (yes that’s when most people eat lunch and you’d think they would staff more than one person for that time). There were about 7 of us in line at this point. I can’t blame the nice young man who was working to get the orders done (could have been a little faster but at least he was working!!). After waiting in line a few minutes a young lady came out from the back area - I thought great, this will speed things up. She literally looked down the line of people and saw all 7 of us waiting and then went back to the back again. I have no idea what she was doing back there - hopefully it was working and not playing on her phone, but still when the line is backed up that far you’d think she’d clue in and help for a few minutes!!!! She then came back 2 more times while I was there waiting and never helped once! I finally got my sandwiches at 12:40 - yes that is 30 minutes of my life I’ll never get back. I could have ordered a steak at a sit down restaurant and gotten it faster. So yeah this place sucks!

I'm very disappointed at the subways in downtown bham. I've visited two where you have to have a code to enter the restroom. At this particular restaurant the girl didn't smile for at least 5 consecutive guests.

Whatever happened to customer service? Don’t expect that here. Do they make sandwiches here? I came here one evening around 7 pm, and the side door was locked which was really odd. The employee didn’t acknowledge me, just kept on doing what she was doing. I finally found a secondary entrance, assuming there was one because this location likes to be shady and lock their doors early instead of serve customers. After I went in I stood in line for several minutes as she cleaned and ignored me wanting to order a sandwich (this food bar was disgusting, as she wiped every part of it down nice and slow as I stood there waiting). I finally asked if anyone else was here to make my food and she nonchalantly said it was just her. She continued to clean and didnt take the hint I was tired of waiting (probably an education problem). This continued for another minute before I asked for the managers name. Several poor customer service experiences leads me to believe this Subway needs new management and a new team of people to work there. Last week the same foolish girl made me go all the way through the order before telling me their credit card machine was down. The girl that night was less than concerned about customer service and would probably be the first one to fight over being treated the way she treated me. I filed a complaint with corporate but I doubt they’ll fire her for being uneducated in doing her job. Before going to Subway, choose the other restaurants that offer better customer service and food like McAlisters.

I'm here at Children's of Alabama Hospital for a few days because my 5 year old grandson just had back surgery. I am a truck driver and I love Subway! I have visited nearly 100s of subways all over the country. This afternoon around 5:15 I went to pick up my daughter and I dinner and received the worse possible service from the subway female employee. She was helping another gentleman and she stopped and asked me what I wanted. When taking my order I tried to tell the employee that I wanted my vegetables warmed with my chicken because I was ordering a wrap, but before I could continue telling her what kind of vegetables I wanted she stopped me and said she has gotten to the vegetable part. So I said I'm sorry you asked what I wanted and I was telling you. She told me to wait that she wasn't ready for my toppings yet. She finished helping the gentleman in front of me and proceeded to put my chicken in the oven. I said Mam you are not listening to me, I want my vegetables warmed with my chicken. She then put my food back down and went to assist the girl in line behind me. I asked her what she was doing and she said helping her because you have an attitude. Just because I was trying to telI her what I wanted in my wrap? Seriously? So she decided to teach me a lesson by skipping me and when on to help the other young lady that just arrived and did not see what happened from the beginning. I told her I was a paying customer and the employee said f*** off. I have never in my life recieved the dis service from a restaurant employee like tonight. I may be tired from being at the hospital for the past 4 days but I would never disrespect anyone trying to serve me. I'm always very nice to people. I was shocked at this woman's rude attitude and I was not about to stay quiet and I let her have a piece of my mind also and she did not desert to work for a place like Subway. She also proceeded to insult me telling me to leave and believe that is all I wanted do after this rude woman was insulting me. I hope this place has cameras so they can see and listen to the whole incident. This was so uncalled and ebarrassing! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Staff was rude and have attitudes just like the other times i go there. Never any cookies. Drink machine is flat a lot of times and oh....they are rude! (Did i say that?) This was my last visit to that one period, there are 2 others, 1 is 5 blocks down, the other is about 10 blocks.

Ordered online and when I got there minutes later my sandwich was there waiting on me, ready to go. Clean store too. Great job Subway!

Young lady told me that my order was large and I needed to have called it in. I needed 5 foot long sandwichs but she prepared 6. I bought all six
