This place is amazing, we are from out of town this is our new get away place, the food was delicious, waitress was amazing, chef is amazing can't say enough!!!

Favorite Mexican place in Birmingham. The Yucatecas are a personal favorite.
One of the two best Mexican places in Birmingham (the other is La Bamba in Homewood). Excellent, friendly service. The chips and salsa are delicious and the fajitas are on point. If you like the Mexican milk drink orchata, this is your lucky day because they have it and you get free refills. Don't waste your money on other Mexican places on Greensprings.

Me gusta. Acapulco lies in an unfortunate location: the end corner of a dying shopping center even though aldi is 100 feet away and publix is across the street. Anyways, food is great, strawberry margaritas are to die for, etc. i wish they were open past 11 aam on sundays though!
Good salsa. Tasty burrito and enchilada. Service is hit or miss - sometimes slow. Will go back.
Great food and drinks, but..... The wait staff is SO rude. My friend ordered a peach margarita, and was brought strawberry. When alerted to the mistake, the waitress informed him that he was wrong, that he clearly ordered strawberry. Also, not sure if it's friends of the owners, or just people from the community, but you don't ever want to be seated in the back section closest to the kitchen. That is where all the families let there children run crazy. One tried to take food of our table. The parents were watching and laughing. If I was the owner/manager, I would know some kids going hungry that night.
Great Food for the Price. This restaurant has a good atmosphere, and good food for the amount they charge you. Staff is mostly friendly, but every now and then you get the odd server who isn't that great. Friday nights they have a mariachi band come play for all the customers, and this can create a fun night.
Try the spinach dip. It's queso with spinach, and quite delicious.

I stopped by earlier this week for lunch. The service was spectacular! The food was delicious. I ordered the #14 lunch option which is a spinach enchilada, a pork tamale and a beef taco. Everything was so fresh and well worth the price! I will definitely go back again.
We love this place! We don't even visit any other Mexican Restaurants anymore since this is the best one.
The shrimps are always perfect consistency and seasoning. The plates are huge, we always end up taking home some food. And the Margaritas! OMG, best frozen Margaritas in a variety of flavors! It is very special dining in here because the customer is King & Queen there!♥️
Probably one of my favorite places to eat in Birmingham especially for Mexican food. The decor is beautiful very authentic and the food is so good. It's a great spot for large parties as well as just two people hanging out and enjoying the ambiance.

Great food. Had carnitas which weren't even on the menu and they accommodated me. Staff was friendly and quick. Would definitely revisit.
We've gotten take-out there 3 times now & the service has been fast & the food has been very good. Plan to go back & will dine in when family is here.
