Order ahead! Firehouse subs has got hot and cold subs that you can easily customize. A hoard of hot sauces is kinda their "thing" - before covid, there'd be about 100 bottles to choose from, now they still have 5 options in packets. This location always has great customer service and food, just seems a little understaffed during lunch. So obviously, they're doing things right!

I've been going to this location on Cahaba river rd for 5 years. Now it is has TERRIBLE employees that don't care!!! Now they make your sandwich like they want it. Unfortunately out of the 3 ladies working only 1 was attentive. She was making all the sandwiches and that is probably why my sandwich along with another customer's sandwich was made wrong. I called first, for curbside pick up. Called back again today to speak to the manager and the phone is still not being answered.
Ordered my sandwich online last night after my 12 hour shift. It wasn't ready when I arrived and it was wrong.Ask for vinegar and the 1 lady in the middle of the 3 said, What does she want... Well, I thought I was a customer. Sorry to bother you while you Was not Doing anything. I walked out, came home and this is not what I ordered online. WOW. 15$ on a whole sandwich, to eat the other half for dinner tomorrow. This is just WRONG.

Firehouse makes a great product, but they are super proud of their mess. I mean, a portion goes to FF so you don't feel so bad paying $11 for a sub, but still. A little nagging voice in the back of your mind is telling you to go to the grocery store and make your own for half that. Also, it doesn't matter that we came in 45 minutes until close, welcome your customers when they walk in. The only time we were spoken to was when we were ordering. Me and my son had just driven 600 miles from Raleigh and we were beat tired. A hello or welcome or get out or something would've been better than the silent treatment we were greeted with. The food is 4stars. The service 2.

How do you order a large sub as a split basket in a Firehouse and they act like they don't know what you are talking about? Then, after you explain you still get the sub handed to you 15 minutes later in one container and no pickle and a bad attitude... wow... things have really gone downhill here. It is a Saturday at mid-day and you take an order for like 5 subs on the phone instead of listening to the people standing in front of you... not a great customer service move. Fix it or close it.

The sandwiches are delicious and the staff is wonderful. Keon was very friendly and quick with my order and even had some suggestions for the next time I come in. A++ service!

Firehouse subs is always a smart choice. Best hot subs available IMO.. this location is always on point. Little bit out of the way, but worth the detour. Staff is super friendly, very welcoming, and subs are great. Never a variation in quality from day to day.

I went in this evening to order sandwiches Togo. We are the only people in the store ordering it takes 20 plus minutes to make our sandwich as we watch the staff play around on the line not working or making our sandwiches. We get home and our sandwiches are incorrect. I come back and they proceed to tell me they don’t know how to give refunds or fix my issue and try and make me pay. Ridiculous and then my second sandwich took another 20 minutes to make as the two staff members continued to goof around and make fun of me behind the line for being upset like I can’t see what they are saying. Won’t be back

As an ex manager at firehouse subs in FL, I was very disappointed upon walking into this restaurant. I did not get greeted, actually I stood at the register for about four minutes while 3 girls were standing on the line discussing a sandwich. Then a shift leader came out of the back on the phone, finished talking, hung up the phone and then asked me had I been helped. I ordered, then when I got my sandwich (my favorite by the way, an Italian), the meat was not hot all the way through indicating that the steamer needed water. Honestly, they either are not trained or don't care because you can look at the way the cheese is melted on the sandwich and tell the steamer needs water, so when I got my sandwich I already knew it wasn't going to be warm, but I was in a hurry and had to get to work. Let me just apologize that your employees and management staff are not on top of their game. They need more training.
