I had just left this store about 20 mins ago. I shared it with my 11 yr old son so that's why is a little empty. Kids will eat anything but I'm disappointed about the quality of the food. The chicken is old and owner is arguing trying to convince me that his other customer that came around the same time and got take out has not complained. Probably had not complained as of yet.
Ok but maybe they pray on it or aren't home yet. But I got photos. The chicken was old. It ate up the sauce that alone tells you it's old..
Sadly this arguing with customers about bad quality of his food is the worst and I won't be returning. Demanding I return to store now when he closes in 19 minds and it would take me time.. furthermore I'm exhausted been at the soccer field. Who is he to try and make a customer return at his convenience
I may have to dispute this with my bank. Food or worth the money and $4 add on for dry lomen with sauce or vegetable

sooooo tonight I ordered Fried Wontons and Pork Lo Mein (through door dash) and this is what I received. The wontons had no cream cheese filling WHATSOEVER. I had to stir around the Pork Lo Mein to even find some pork in them. Let’s just say I’m truly disappointed considering I’ve been craving this for almost two weeks 😩😩

I’ve been ordering from here since I moved to Brook Highland in 2011.
I always get the Singapore Rice Noodles and am consistently happy with them. From the 4 Chinese restaurants I order from on 280, theirs are the best.
The few other dishes I’ve tried have also been good.
So, I’ll switch up the restaurants based on the dish, but for rice noodles, this is my go-to.

Just got some food from there, my chicken was raw! I tried to go back to the restaurant and it was closed early with no proper notification. Google and Apple Maps say they close at 9, their door says they close at 8:30, I got there before 8:30 and no one was there!

There daughter who can't be more than 12 or 13 has waited on me the last two times I have been in there. She is the sweetest Young lady. We had the best conversation about music. She couldn't believe an old man like me listed to Post Malone and Imagine Dragons. 😂😂😂😂 Oh and the food is really good too.

Dinner did not meet expectation especially for price. Charged more for fried rice also the sesame shrimp was poorly breaded 🍴 not enjoyable. Seems meal was rushed when cooked 🤦🏾♀️ only two customers not during lunch time. Honestly thought about getting Chick-fil-A instead while ordering and ironically staff hurried to go place Chick-fil-A order they ate after preparing my order.

Great soup, rolls, and wontons. Kung Pao chicken, and Szechuan beef are our favorites. Family owned and operated by some great people.

Got this on Monday as my go-to Chinese place near me seems to be closed on Monday. It was good. I wouldn't say it surpassed any expectations by any means, but it was decent. I wasn't mad about it, and I'd eat there again, but if you're in the area, I'd recommend Hunan Cuisine or Hunan Garden if you don't mind driving a little further. But if it's a Monday or you don't feel driving a little further, it is passable.

Okay. Ordered “Happy Family”. Was supposed to have scallops. Didn’t get any. Maybe they forgot. Pretty generous with the chicken & shrimp though. Crab is fake as expected, but sparse. Been going there for years and will likely continue.

Ordered the beef with scallops. The strips of beef wore my jaws out. They were tougher than a Russian Gymnastics judge. The scallops were fine, 4 small pieces. There were no peanuts anywhere in my plate, (menu says they're supposed to be there) the vegetables, (great expanses of Green peppers, and carrots) were raw, thrown into the wok to be heated, not cooked or sautéed. At 15.00 / plate with tip and drink, there's better options that side of town. The proprietors were friendly.

Recommended. I've eaten here many times and also the only other nearby typical Chinese take out. Both are good but not the best I've had. Same as you usually get anywhere. I do like the egg rolls better from here over the other location and can't beat the price for getting soup and egg roll. They work very hard and it's appreciated.

Most of the time.... The food is very good. My only suggestion is to not get the sweet and sour pork. My wife ordered that as a take out not long ago and the pork pieces seemed more like rocks inside a fried batter. Other than this, I have always been very happy with the food. I too have watched the two girls grow up there.

Our Favorite Take Out. We only order Chinese from New China. Yes, the "waitress" is always in a hurry, but she is not rude---she's just BUSY. She is the owner, server, take out guru, cashier and anything else you want to add. Her husband is the cook, although they sometimes have help in the back. Our family has watched their two children grow up in the restaurant.

Surprising!. I went to this restaurant thinking I would have a horrible waitress, as the other reviews would have you believe. My expectations were extremely low for my visit, and boy was i surprised. The service was very fast and the waitress said thank you, and other nice things. DISSAPPOINTED!!! Will NOT return!

Great food.. We go here once a month or so to get take out. The general chicken, (general tso's chicken) is amazing. It's the best on this side of town. You can ask them to spice it up for you too. The couple who own it are nice.

Food is great, cheap (at lunch you get soup and an egg roll with your meal and it's under $7!) and it is very fast. Me and my friends always go here and have learned to let the strange/rude service roll off our backs in favor of getting this great, cheap food!

Get the lunch special!! Fried rice,soup, egg roll, and an entree for less than seven dollars!! Service isn't the best but I'm a regular and the lady likes me. It's really great for students and young adults. I reccommend it for everyone!

Second chance /good food but rude service. The lady who waited on me was rather rude...she seemed upset at some other workers/family and proceeded to obviously carry on an "un-pleasant" conversation.....I dont speak chinese but you could tell someone was in the doghouse....<br/>I like to go & spend money where my business is appreciated....I will try one more time....maybe they had a bad day?

Delicious. It's definitely some count. I go by there on the reg and get a pull of the shrimp lo mein. They give you a ton of food. I usually fill my gut pile then wait a couple hours and fill it again.

I stopped by there because of the good reviews...NEVER again....my fortune cookie was already open and their was a metallic string in my fried rice...GROSS!

Excellent Chinese!. I pick up from here EVERY Monday for dinner. It is fresh and wonderful every time! Great egg rolls and the Mongolian chicken is FANTASTIC! Family owned. They don't speak much English, so don't try to carry on a conversation. Please support this place! If I don't get this every Monday I don't know what I would do. :-) I promise you will LOVE IT!

New China 280. The link (mynewchina.com) is not the menu for New China on highway 280 by WalMart. The food is good, cheap and FAST! Like all Chinese places they give you tons of food.
