Review Krispy Kreme - Birmingham

I ordered 2 dozen donuts Saturday, December 11th. I got a dozen original glazed and a dozen holiday assorted for my kids. I was very disappointed in the quality of the donuts. First, the snowmen donuts look nothing like the advertisement (See picture). The icing was running off and separating, including the black dots for eyes/buttons. There were no noses. All of the other donuts were clearly not made today. They tasted as though they had been made days ago. The glaze was gritty and cloudy. It lacked the Krispy Kreme shine and tasted disgusting. I would like to reimbursed for this substandard product I paid for. I'll be sure to shop another Krispy Kreme location in the future. Edit: Krispy Kreme later sent me a voucher for a couple free dozen donuts. Not sure if I should redeem or not.

I went to use the bathroom and it was dirty...dead roach in the floor.😬 Then, when I opened the bathroom door, a man was standing in the doorway, peeing. I didn't see a cup in his hand and there was a big puddle I had to step over. Definitely PEE. Guessing he was homeless.🤷🏻‍♀️ Not exactly the experience I had wanted for my children at their first trip to Krispy Kreme.

The employees were very nice and seemed like they wanted to make sure the order was correct. However when I got home, I realized the chocolate covered custard filled donuts werent covered in chocolate. It looks like someone put a dot of chocolate and called it a day. I've never seen this type of donut look like this..

Service could have been a little faster and more attentive. Other than that everything was fine. Store was clean. Mask were on. Donuts very tasty and fresh!

Ordered donuts yesterday, they were not fresh & tasted like they were made days ago. Thankfully they were purchased for $5 and not the normal price because that would've been much worse. Would not visit this location again based on the quality.

*based on deliveries only Employees weren't very friendly and out of several donut options on my 1st order. The 2nd time, literally only ONE employee working the whole store which slows down everything for everyone. I'm not trying to bash them, but there's a LOT of room for improvement... Plus, $1.89 for a single glazed donut???

Ordered on line 2 days ahead of time for the green donuts and when I got there to pick them up they said they had sold out! I paid for them 2 days before. Stay away.

I'm 45 and have been coming to this location since I was a kid. I remember when you could smoke inside and the old timers would spend the whole morning or evening in here puffing away. So much so that the ceiling tiles and walls were yellow lol. It was like a bar that didn't serve alcohol, just sugar and coffee. Over the years they have remodeled and added a drive thru. You just can't beat their donuts.
