Had a sweet tea chicken sandwich with a side of turnip greens (they are the best)! Hubby had the pull pork and it’s always amazing! We were fortunate to have SAM as our waiter again. He’s not only a great waiter, but a terrific performer, so you must go to Saw’s one evening when he’s on the venue.
Went for the first time ever last night. I was in the area for work and it came up on a Google search. The place/atmosphere is homey and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was somehow even better. I had the wings and pulled pork plate. I would definitely go back and recommend it. Plus the locals were super friendly.
The view of this place is misleading, don't let that chase you away thou. The Saw's burger was very good as well as their smoked wings, and their cheese grits are amazing, I've never cared for cheese grits before, they've changed my view on them. Great people, great location.
This is a really cool laid back place to eat and kid friendly. Also, the food is fantastic! My sandwich was great, but the sweet potato fries were my favorite.
I'd been dying to try Saw's after hearing (and reading) so many rave reviews. This place didn't disappoint. The service was great--prompt, actuate, and courteous. Food was stellar! I had the pork and greens and an order of fried green tomatoes. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and the portions were ample. The only thing I'd change would be to slice the green tomatoes a little thicker. They almost got lost in the coating. I'll definitely be going back!
Awesome food, service, and atmosphere! The pork stuffed potato was huge- get both the red and white BBQ sauce on it! It's big enough for two!
One of our absolute favorites! They have awesome specials daily that are so unique, as well as a delicious everyday menu. Great place to get drinks and listen to music on the weekends. One of our favorite spots for sure!!
Fantastic food, service and prices!! Greens and pork were amazing! Enough for dinner and lunch for tomorrow!! Carolina burger is delicious as well. Highly recommend! Little gem that is seriously in the middle of a neighborhood!
Love the sauce!!! The surprise was the fried onion rings. The were fresh, thin slices , lightly breaded with just a very subtle kick of heat. That was unexpected but perfect. The portion size is enough for two.
Always a pleasure to come here it has a great atmosphere everyone is super friendly my son loves it he gets so happy to go food is always filling they are not afraid of portions I always refer friends to go for some good bbq all they need to add is a changing table
Absolutely delicious burger! My fiancé got the BBQ sandwich, and just be warned that it is a vinegar based sauce. We also tried the smoked chicken with white sauce and it was worth getting. But from now on when I eat at Saw's, I'll be eating the burger! So yummy!
Always a favorite. The food is good, even though it's served on Styrofoam and the service is usually great. They get slammed on any night of the week but seem to maintain their composure and quality. I would like to see some better glassware for the wine, but it is a BBQ joint.
Their specials are usually inventive and different, but it's hard to go wrong with the grits and greens. Sweet potato fries are my toddlers favorite!
