Amazing dinner at Giles in the Montage. The Salmon appetizer might have been the best Salmon I ever had, and the Dover sole was amazingly delicious. We also had the caviar and steak tar tar appetizer which was SO good. We couldn’t leave without getting the famous Baba Rum Flambé, which chef Giles came out to do himself. Very tasty and boozy desert! I can’t wait to come back here and bring my family.
We spent a wonderful evening at the restaurant, and as being clients of the hotel itself, we found reaching the restaurant naturally easy. When we first arrived, there was a little of confusion regarding our table, which was solved very quickly with no trouble at all. The service was excellent, our server was very friendly and kind, making sure that our evening was delightful. The food arrived moderately quickly, and it was extremely tasty and had regularly sized portions. The server was not at all reluctant to make changes to the menu regarding our personal preferences, and he assured us that any queries we had would be m answered. This wasn’t necessary, as the menu was really clear and went into depth about the ingredients used in order to prepare. In summary, we found our evening very pleasurable and a wonderful way to spend an evening out.
Wonderful, personal service. Great portions leave you full. Elegant and light room with a nice view to the center fountain outside.
