Excellent restaurant! It's has a fancy vibe but casual at the same time. My friend and I celebrated our former dance teacher's birthday there and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday to her! Love the food and excellent service! Will come back in the future!
Amazing service paired with beautifully presented and delicious Japanese food. It was expensive, but every bite was absolutely worth it. This is a great place to stop by when you feel like treating yourself to some exceptional sushi.
The best sushi I’ve ever experienced hands down. We sat outside where it seemed understated and less formal. The meal itself was an experience that will live with me forever
Solid Omakase experience at Matsuhisa. We kicked off the meal with a sake flight and beer chasers.

Their cooked food were great. Their sushi were good. They also can accommodate the customer request. It is worthy to visit.
One of the best sashimi’s ever had especially the yellowtail and the white fish
The service was fine, but they sat us in the outdoor patio, which is a big area, but not very glamorous .. overall, the food experience was amazing !
Sat on the bar ,we ordered lobster dinner and $201 omakase . Chefs were very friendly and they made delicious food for us , you can tell them what you like (for me is caviar 😋)so they make something related .
Caviar taco and spring roll were amazing !
We spent $490 for two person include sakes and d
The best dinner I have ever experienced. Casual celebrity sightings and attentive staff
Truly excellent Japanese food and service. If I could give Matsuhisa 5 1/2 stars, I would. It was that good!
Dined omakase in the hidden private sushi bar room by the front.
Great Bday dinner!
Omacase ($210; one higher) was very good. Unbelievable taste. Caviar Taco(beluga) was quite good! So many names of dishes thrown at me... 😆
Nobu TK sake was quite tasty(floral/sweet, not overly)
Had omakase and the course I selected was without A5 Wagyu as I was just craving for authentic Japanese seafood. I was very satisfied with their food in that every food was fresh & tasty with a variety of spices. Truffle oil, olive oil, ginger, special sauce made of ponzu, fresh hot pepper and so o
We had the $200 Omakase menu when we visited. Everything was top notch quality and excellent food. The number of courses was a bit on the low end compared to other omakase places you can go to and and this place was a bit more expensive for the price as well. You definitely pay for the Matsuhisa nam
Even though I am not the biggest fan of Japanese food, the fish dishes here were exceptionally good (and spicy). Wagyu also perfect. At the end we ran across the chef, he seemed like a very friendly and authentic person
The food comes out FAST! The tables are closely set so not much room for comfort but the food is decent, my only real complaint was that we werent offered final order before we were given the bill and shoo’ed off because the next reservation had arrived.
