The Tangled Wood

Went on Valentine's Day and was able to be seated right away. Ttaff was very friendly. The drink menu needed to be updated, but there was a large selection. Crab Rangoon dip was very good. The brisket was just ok. Waiter went the extra mile to ensure we got 1/2 off on our appetizer as it was a special for the day. Definitely would recommend checking this place out.

First time here for lunch with my wife. 2 parts of this review, first Ruben & chicken sandwiches were just ok, on the cold side. Onion strings in place of fries were disappointing. 2nd part of review was service & atmosphere, all very much lacking. Started with greeting from disinterested teen on a phone call. Seated at a table in middle of what felt like a school cafeteria,next to an isle with servers passing by very frequently, no privacy with packed in table spacing. Waited long time to place an order, so no appetizers. Chairs are great if your a small person, being hard formed plastic with curves in all the wrong places making them not suitable for plus sized people. The sandwiches served on cafeteria trays with terrible wax paper underneath making for in your mouth if not careful. Had to request silverware-duh. Service timing was extremely slow........ Overall, food just average. Everything else not good. Definitely not worth the $$, won't return here nor recommend it to those who expect a nice experience for the $$.

The food was very good and the place is neat. They have indoor seating and a huge outdoor area with a bags area. There is also an outdoor stage with a big screen tv to watch the game. I had a brisket dip sandwich and fries. The sandwich was very good and the fries were decent. The fries would have been better if they were hot.

It was not what i was hoping for my burger was so burnt and my bun was hard. We waited about an hour for food already so we just ate it. And the baked beans were just boiled beans with no seasoning in water. The environment was good and our server was friendly. I am glad they were not busy. Definitely worth going MAYBE it will be great for you.
