We had a wonderful time recently when we visited Popei's Clam Bar, Bethpage NY.
We treated a birthday girl for her special day, and she, too, enjoyed her meal very much. Our steaks were cooked to order, and seafood was fresh. Our appetizers were on point as well.

Here’s another lobster place we can go to instead of Cape Cod. The parking area was crowded around dinner time but quieted down early. There’s a valet parking, so don’t worry. This is a place you definitely must try. The seafood is fresh and reasonably priced. The waitstaff is excellent and pays attention to detail. The ambiance is okay. I had the 4lb lobster and clams.
We had a delicious dinner last night at Popei's Clam Bar. I had the broiled seafood dinner which came with a salad and my husband had stuffed rigatoni with a lobster tail & shrimp in alla vodka which also came with a salad. The prices were great. My experience at Popei’s in Bethpage was Awesome. The Chef even came out and greeted us. The food was cooked fresh and delicious. The warm bread they serve before our meal was hard to turn down. The drinks were perfect. I’d definitely recommend to whomever. I will be back do day soon. 👨🏻🍳🦞🦐🍝🍷🥃

Great seafood I just love their shellfish pots. The clams mussels littlenecks combo is my favorite. Great place to go.
The most amazing, freshest food! This is my go to spot for Seafood. Joe is always accommodating and really cares about his guests! They even provide complementary valet parking. It doesn’t get much easier than that! You pull up your car the valet takes it and you enjoy a phenomenal dinner.
