Unique authentic Indian cuisine restaurant which great food.
A friend of mine LOVES Indian food so when he’s in town we’ve eaten here several times. We were very happy on every visit. The food has great flavor and spice. We ordered the Chef’s Special Assorted Platter. It was very enjoyable though several pieces of chicken were a little overcooked/dry. But overall that wouldn’t stop me from ordering it again. We both had Chicken Tikka Masala. Nothing but good things to say. Spice level was spot on and there wasn’t any left when we finished.
Quick tip. It’s BYOB. There is a PA Wine and Spirits store across the street, on the same block. It’s to the left as you come of Nawab. Also Campus Pizza sells cold six packs of beer. Both serve well if you forgot something to accompany your meal.
I’ll be back to try something new in the future.

I had ordered takeout. The Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Jal fFrezi were acceptable. The Tandoori shrimp was extremely disappointing. The shrimp had a spoiled fishy smell and was extremely dried out as if it was shrimp jerky! I called Nawab and complained. They were very sorry and offered to refund the cost of the dish to my credit card.

Earlier when we were new to Bethlehem area we had tried this restaurant, the food quality and taste was very much under the average. After that visit we never recommended or visited here. Recently we tried again from here and the food was soo good !! It’s now on top of our list compared to all local Indian restaurants.

Food was great! Dinner service was take out only due to staffing, however they are open for dine in lunch. This restaurant has been awarded best food of the year award for many years and the food was delicious.
We purchased three entree's which all came with a large side if basmati rice and garlic Naan bread. Delivery available via grub hub as well. Will definitely dine there again when in the area!!
I'm giving four stars only because I was hoping to have a dine in experience. I hope the staffing issue is resolved soon, as this restaurant is definitely added to my top ten list when in the Allentown/ Bethlehem area...

I can't believe I haven't rated Nawab sooner. This is my go to Indian place. I recently relocated so they're not as close anymore, but thankfully, still work in Bethlehem, so can get it semi-frequently. Nawab never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious and always is hot (even if ordered for delivery).
