Best sushi we ever had. 2020 Update 2021: They went downhill. The roll we ordered was supposed to be deep fried crab like last time. Now it's only got a little bit and the rest is imitation fake Pollack stick. For an expensive roll I don't want fake crab. The other rolls were bland. The eel roll was very bland. The server was ok but wasn't very attentive when we needed more beverages. Needless to say I will not come back next year. The first photos with the wooden plate were from the 2020 trip. The white plate is the 2021 disappointment sushi. I'm pretty sure it had mostly to do with the sushi rice was not cooked correctly. It tasted like Uncle Ben's unsweetened bagged rice. And it was very very mushy.

Okay, so I really wanted to give them 5 stars because almost everything was great besides the second round of veggie fried dumplings we got were mushy and for $13 + it should have been. Outside of must dumplings, everything was top notch including server. She was patient with me who I know can be a lot.

Best sushi ever here it’s more than just delicious it’s extremely appetizing. The wings are also a great selection appetizer as well as the soups! Pre-covid i loved going to there soup bar they hosted in the Sunday River Lodge, hopefully it’ll come back around sometime. The restaurant is great, customer is very friendly and welcoming, the style of the space is very elegant but is casual dress. Great place selection of food to stop in with group or couples.

Omg where do I start about Cho Sun!? How about for being short staff it has the best service. Our waitress never stop going but somehow always made sure we had everything we needed. They have a good selection of drinks from beer to cocktail, hot and cold sake. The food is awesome. I've never had melt in my mouth steak before but their garlic teriyaki steak was delightful. If you are a sushi lover I also recommend trying something on that side of their menu. Even if you don't like sushi you should stop by hear they have plenty else to choice from. I would make the 8 hour trip up to Bethel, Maine just for Cho Sun. BTW it's reservations only but so worth having to plan head for them. Thank you so much Cho Sun for 2 amazing experiences. We will definitely recommend you to everyone we know even if they're not coming to Maine.

What a Seinfeld episode!!! We had a 7:45pm reservation and did not receive our appetizers until 9:00pm. At the beginning before ordering they ran out salmon, beef and even sweet n low for my tea. The waitress didn’t even come over to check in and offer extra items. No discount off the bill. A terrible experience. DONT BRING KIDS!!!
