Review Hibachi Of Valley Forge - Berwyn

The decor is a bit rustic, location is easy to find, staff is very friendly. When we arrived for our reservation we were seated right away. The temperature was comfortable and server was very attentive. There was very little lag time between our salad (sad there was not the usual soup) and when our chef arrived ready. While our chef was skilled with the utensils he was not very chatty and didn't entertain much which is something the kids look forward to when going to hibachi restaurants. They did however enjoy the lightening round of flying shrimp see if you can catch them in your mouth. Everything felt a bit rushed but the experience was still great. And to top it all off the food was delicious. I ordered the house special salmon, shrimp and chicken -- I must warn you the kid portions are large enough for leftovers times two which was great. Our server sang happy birthday to our little lady and we all left happy and full. I would recommend this hibachi restaurant to family and friends.

It's a cain hibachi, once you walk through the doors i bet you wouldn't be able to tell the difference from one to the next. Did not do the sushi. Did the standard group table.. with a show. It was a good time. It could be considered on the more costly side, but you definitely get your full. So if you're looking to go out with a group and this is your taste of stlye.. go for it.

Had fun with the kids! Got the Filet Mignon and Shrimp and it was delicious! The chicken and the salmon where both very tasty as well. Our Chef was pretty funny with jokes! The kid size plates are perfect for 9/10 year olds we had a few bites left over.

Amazing food & a great site. Our chef was funny, cooked to perfection & had amazing aim with the shrimp! He literally put the shrimp in everyone's mouth. Not everyone was fast enough to catch it, but his aim was on point. Pro tip: if you go during the early time, there's a generous discount for hibachi.

My son and I stopped in for a last minute dinner out and it great. The staff was nice, the cook was funny, and the food was AWESOME. A little pricey but the taste of the food made up for that. They are also not skimpy with the portions. We left feeling really full and can't wait to return.

Food is always good when you eat at the restaurant. If you take out they cook the food next to fish and your meal tastes like seafood.

Very good food. The Hibachi was fun to watch and the service was good. I got the steak and it was good and so was the rice. This was my first time ever coming here and I have to say that I definitely liked it.

The staff are very friendly and the food is outstanding! I have always loved Asian food and I could live on it every single day! That evening’s food preparation performance was outstanding! I will be returning there very soon and continue to enjoy the delicious food!

First time eating at this place. The food was great. The chef seemed a little rushed though. My only complaint was that our seats in the hibachi side were extremely close together, so it made sitting next to strangers a little uncomfortable. Normally it isn't a big deal. Also, we must have gone during an early bird special because our bill was super cheap. Overall we were very happy with our anniversary dinner.

I was treated to a hibachi birthday dinner here...and it was good. We caught the early bird special, and the prices were very reasonable. Our server and chef both were friendly. Our chef did his lil show, great, shrimp -flip, funny, food portioned out good (we had another party at our table, we knew this could happen, which was fine with us), and all thought the food was tasty. The service was steady, and we got home in time for my grandbabies (and mine-lol) bedtime. Two bleeps: -We didnt like the house dressing on our salads, and we didn't ask if they had another kind of dressing-to me it tasted like sweet mayo..ugh. -While paying our bill, my daughter used cash, and she asked for the change back. When the change came back, it was short. The server took the bill-folio back & immediately returned with the correct amount...it was just weird.

Went here for a birthday party. Restaurant is split up for hibachi and for sushi. There were 8 of us so we were expecting some to have Hibachi and some to do Sushi. They were crowded so they wouldn't allow those who only wanted sushi to have only sushi (there's and all you can eat option for $25.00/person). So I get it, they're crowded. They did allow us to order inidividual rolls. So that was cool, but the rolls took a very long time. Guess that's why they didn't allow the all you could sushi while seated at the hibachi table, because everyone would be done eating their dinner while you waited for sushi. So, I'm not faulting the restaurant, just making an observation that if getting both habach and sushi is your plan, you might need to be flexible. The table side chef was great and fun! For the price this is a really good deal and fun for everyone!

This is my far the best Hibachi I've had. And, we went for early bird so was very reasonable. I had the salmon and shrimp combo and it was fantastic.

Everything was great but my husband wasn't done with his salad and the server took it without asking him he likes to eat it with his meal...He wasn't happy

The food was good but all hibachi is pretty much the same. This one was probably cleaner than many...could have done without the styrofoam cups though. Lol

My hubby and I have been here many times. However, now that I make my own teriyaki sauce, I found that the teriyaki sauce they use is too sweet for my palate. Excellent sushi tho. Will go again but won't order anything teriyaki'd.

All you can eat is a farce. Did not provide what we ordered, even after waiting for 20 minutes! Wait forever for service. Hibachi is a wait, then chef is there for a blink of an eye. Service non-existent. Double check your bill as they tip themselves! Go to Wegmans for better service and food...!

Worst Japanese restaurant I've ever been to will definitely not be back. Server never checked on us food was over cooked and very little of it. Couldn't sit st hibachi table due to large party. We're not given any sauces for our food. Had to summon the server to tell her I wouldn't eat the well done filet they served me when I ordered rare 15 min after I got my food. They did take 13.95 off my bill, the manager must of been to busy to come talk to me. I'll be sure to let everyone know to go elsewhere.

Food wasn’t all that good. Didn’t get onion volcano or saki shots. Or tossing of vegetables. But had a great time with my family

The food was good & they cooked mine without any soy or other sauces. But I thought it was dirty!!!

I've never had a bad experience here. The staff are always friendly and service is usually quick. The chefs always make me laugh at dinner. And Hibachi is hands down the best

Thought it was great. Not only good food but lots of fun and laughs. I did bad catching the shrimp. We will have to go back so I can practice a little more. OH YEAH.!!!!!
