Always visit here when we come home to visit. Food is consistent and fantastic. Seeing Janet V and her big sweet smile is always an added bonus! We will always eat here when we are in the area. Excellent food and service. The ice cream is just an added bonus! Get your whole belly clams back for next time!

Did not expect to find Blue Mango veggie burgers here! Don't let the "function hall" appearance dissuade you. Two burgers, fresh cut onion rings, hand cut sweet potato fries, two Sam Adams, and a fresh baked strawberry pie slice for under $33. Awesome! Super friendly waitress Kate told us the history of the place, showed us an old postcard (1950s) of what this family owned business looked like before the fire, and drew us a map to a cool second hand store in Berlin. Looks like an Elks lodge, but it's got great food and really friendly staff. Even chatted with an eccentric local during dinner. Fun fun fun, and delicious food. An unexpected hidden gem!

I've been coming here since I was a baby. They did a wonderful remodel awhile back and the food is wonderful as always. The fried haddock is among the best I've ever had. The chicken fingers remain a favorite from when I was a kid till today. And most importantly, save room for dessert. The raspberry pie is the absolute best! Tons of delicious homemade pies and excellent ice cream. The views out the back are gorgeous as well. Thank you!

The hand panko breaded chicken fingers were phenomenal. They were cooked golden brown and truly tender while not being over or undercooked. I was not expecting near perfect chicken fingers here, but that is what I got. Also, the customer service is spot on.

We stopped at this restaurant because it was literally the first place that served food on the road on our way back from camping in the woods. The inside is actually wayyyy more spacious and elegant than what you could guess from the outside. I was somewhat embarassed since I was in my have-been-in-the-woods-for-a-week-attire but maybe they are used to it 🤣. The menu has lots of choices and the prices are reasonable. I wanted to get the bison burger but was informed that unfortunately the farm they were in business with burned down 😣, hopefully they find another way to put it back on the menu because it's quite a rare meat to find in restaurants. Classic American food, we went for the lobster roll and seafood mixed platter which were very nice, plus very ample choice of ice cream as well. Very good service and food, would definitely come back next time we are in the area.

It has been 20 years since we have been together at the Dairy Bar. I was delighted with our meals. I always had the haddock plate way back when and I did again. Just as before, nice thick white breaded fillets cooked to perfection. The small salad and fries were very tasty and filling. I had an order of onion rings as appetizer. The order was huge and just as delightful as I remembered. For me to bring home a doggy bag says a lot about the serving size. Now that we've moved back into the area, we can't wait to get back!! PS try to leave room for dessert, they are delicious here!

This restaurant has consistently served delicious grilled shrimp that’s better than many places that I have eaten at when I lived in Florida. Their french fries are also cooked so they are nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The views of the river and the service is also phenomenal and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who will be dining near Berlin.

Of all the restaurants we visited this trip, we found this one to have the friendliest staff! The salmon which my mother and I had was excellent! Sundaes were tasteful. The restaurant was very clean as well. Though I believe the portions weren't as big as they should've been, we'll be back next time we're in the area.

My family was trying to find a place to eat as we were driving through town. We needed to find a place quickly, because we had a very fussy 4 month old who needed her lunch. We were so thankful this was the place we ended up. They were so welcoming and the service was great! We all enjoyed our food. Thanks for the great meal!

Well, I traveled about 65 miles just to have the scrumptious scallops that they have at The Northland Restaurant & Dairy Bar. That should tell you how good the food is. I have yet to find any other place that has scallops as delicious as these are...they melt in your mouth. I hardly ate all day, just so I could finish my plate of scallops, but I was still unable to eat them all while there. Good for me though...I just get to have the 'doggie bag' tomorrow for lunch. If you've never been to The NR&DB, then you need to put in on your bucket list and stop by soon. You WON'T be disappointed. The staff is also excellent...friendly and pleasant to deal with.

I can't fathom how this mediocre restaurant got so many stars. My husband ordered the toasted cheese sandwich, which was around $2.99 and he considered it worth it. My son, however, ordered haddock, poached because he has celiac disease and can't have the breaking. Now, my son *loves* fish. He even drinks the water off of cans of tuna. This fish, however, he took one bite of and pushed away. I don't expect poached fish to be the most flavorful thing in the world, but this was inedibly bland. I had ordered the salmon with lemon butter, so we traded and I tried to punch up the fish as best I could. I managed to get through about half of it before giving up and saving the leftovers to feed my cat when we got home. The salmon was at least all right, but the salmon was $16 and the haddock was $14, and they were very much not worth that. Also, both of our entrees came with two sides. My son got sliced tomatoes and corn, both of which were all right. I ordered wild rice and green beans. The wild rice was pretty good (the only part of my meal that was) and the green beans were very obviously from a tin, overcooked and mushy. The unsweetened iced tea I ordered as all right, but all in all we left the restaurant feeling like we had wasted our money.

I have lived in San Francisco and on Cape Cod. I had the best fish sandwich here. Hands down, the best.

The frsh strawberry pie is to die for every time. Every time I retun to Berl8n I get it if I can.

We really like that place,friendly service,great food and they are consistent,have never had a bad experience there.

We stumbled upon this place after a change of direction on a road trip through the mountains. What a gem!

I will always eat here with my daughter. Great restaurant with the best and most friendly staff you will ever encounter. Not even Disney is as friendly.

This has been my favorite restaurant as long as I can remember. I have never had a bad meal here.
